Year Purchased: 2001
Jack and I have owned this house since 2001. My father purchased it in 1985 then built an addition larger than the original house in 1995. He passed away in 1997 he loved this place because of it's uniqueness and beauty. The panoramic view of the lake, the fishing, golfing and the sunsets only surpassed by those in Hawaii as stated in National Geographic along with the peace and tranquility even in peak season make this place priceless. Because we live a distance and cannot be here as much as we would like we enjoy being able to share a little piece of our heaven with our guests.
Why the Owner Chose Sandy Creek
Our 2 sons call this God's country. We have the same group of friends over July 4th every year and they finally agreed to leave the house or deck as it may be to go to a restaurant after 5 years. They have never gone sight seeing the only places they frequent are the lake, beach, golf course and the front deck. All accessible by foot or boat. We try to coax them to expand their options but their response is always the same. " Why go anywhere? It's perfect here."

If you are looking for much needed vacation from the stresses of every day life this place is what the doctor ordered. You can travel with several families be together and still have your own space when needed. The tranquility and serenity is contagious regardless of your age. There are outdoor activities for everyone or a wonderful view of the lake and nature from the deck to view the activities of children and grandchildren if you just want to relax. Our beach, screened beach house, campfire area. frog pond and dock for fishing all on a private road safe for children to bike ride with a golf course minutes away make this a perfect vacation spot for participators and well as observers. You will not need another vacation when you get home. Think about it!!
