My family and I (3 adults and 2 yo triplets) stayed at this condo for two weeks recently. While it only has two bedrooms technically, we were able to make it work with the den/murphy bed easily. The second bedroom was large enough to accomodate three pack and plays relatively easily. We did not use the beds in that room, but the pyramid bunk beds would be great for kids out of cribs. The unit itself was clean and the bathrooms are pretty updated. We didn't feel we had to do any cleaning upon arrival, which we are known to do! We had all the amenities in the unit as promised, but one item to note for renters is that there were no really large pots. If you plan on cooking anything needing a larger than 6QT pot, bring your own, same goes for a larger frying pan. Otherwise, we weren't missing anything. Having the laundry room and some storage area outside of the condo was a great feature as well! The balcony and view were fantastic as are most in the Sea Watch! The owner was easy to work with and the staff at the Sea Watch as well. Lastly, the amenities at this building are fantastic! The indoor and outdoor pool, kids wading pool, movie theatre, play ground, tennis courts, basketball court, game room, food place, gym...the list goes on an on!! If you can't find something to do here, right at your own building, on rainy or sunny days, you are not even bothering! One recommendation to the owner, with the balcony and small kids, we were a bit uncomfortable by the spacing on the railing. We did go out there, but brought our own gates, etc. I saw some units with mesh attached to the railing using zip ties. This would be inexpensive, wouldn't not upstruct the view at all, and would provide guests with small children piece of mind while renting!

We stayed one week at the condo with 6 adults and 3 children. The condo was extremely clean and well maintained. The laundry room was such a bonus, especially with kids. The laundry room is also a great storage space for sand toys and beach chairs. The balcony is big and has an amazing view and so relaxing. The tooth fairy also made a visit to room 1304, due to our youngest son losing two teeth in one day! The walk from the condo to the beach is a short distance with no stairs, huge bonus! Overall, the condo and Seawatch gets a 5 star rating from me and my family. Security is always visible which made us feel safe at all times. We highly recommend this condo! We. Had a great experience.

Nice place to stay, a few minor items
Nice place to stay, a few minor items
We took our twin 18-month-olds on their first beach vacation here and enjoyed the long weekend stay. The review will be aimed primarily at those with young children. The condo itself was nice. We were using dining room chairs to keep the girls contained in the living room. I'd recommend a portable baby gate since they had figured out how to free themselves by the end of our long weekend. There were a few breakables that we moved out of reach. The VCR/DVD was an irresistible draw to the girls though, and one we didn't feel comfortable moving. You might want to bring one of those plastic shields for your stay. The second bedroom had enough room for two pack and plays although it was a little tight. You could have put them in the Murphy bed entryway if you preferred, but there is no door to close after you put them in bed. We used the Murphy bed entry way for storage (stroller, beach stuff, suitcases, etc.) You could put an a few more kids or an extra couple (close friends/family) to sleep there although it would be a bit crowded and lacks privacy. We were disappointed that the kiddie pool had not been filled (weekend after Memorial Day) as our girls would have loved it. If this is an important feature for you, check with the building management to see when they will open it. Both pools (including the indoor one) were VERY cold. We did get some grief from security that we had the girls in infant swim floats in the pool (floats are not allowed.) However, when we pointed out that they couldn't be in the kiddie pool, they demurred. Similarly, the new condo cinema is not yet open. Check with building management if you are particularly excited about it. The girls did like the playground with toddler swings and slides they could access. The slides had an extremely sturdy set of steps and upper platform that my husband could be on to shepherd the girls down the slide. There were also two areas in the playground that older kids would enjoy.

Holiday Fun !!!
Holiday Fun !!!
Stayed at this wonderful condo over the Memorial Day Weekend 2013 and had a fabulous time. It was as advertised. Clean, well taken care of and very nicely updated. Great communication with the owner and would definately stay with them again. We played a weekend of basketball with our daughters AAU Team and had enough time to enjoy the sun and sand. Weather didn't always cooperate but it didn't matter because we enjoyed indoor activities. I recommend a stay with Carroll and hope that you enjoy the stay as much as we did this year. It helps when you win the tournament too !!!! The complex is well maintained, secure and family friendly !!! Thanks Again

Not what I expected:(
Not what I expected:(
The listing did not include the fact there are no linens for any beds or any towels for swimming or bathing. There were dishes left in the dishwasher, no toilet paper or hand soap! I was very bummed since I had five children with my group we could only stay one of the two nights I payed for.

Manager response: We are the original owners of this property, and we take pride in updating it annually. This year, for example, we replaced carpet in living room/master bedroom, and redid the balcony. In response to the review: (1) As far as we know, all condos in Ocean City require renters to bring their own linens. (2) The dishes were run by our cleaning crew and were clean. (3) We totally empathize with the "tissue issue," having raised three boys there. Nothing is more frustrating than to arrive after a 3-hour car ride to find no t.p.! So we devised a secret stash (divulged only to renters). (4) This is the first complaint we've had about hand soap--I think we can find a way to add it to our secret stash :>) We bent our rules a bit to allow this party of 10 (our maximum is 9) to stay with us. As it happens, we had to go up the following Thursday for a Board Meeting on Saturday. We found two large, overflowing bags of trash in the kitchen which we had to dispose of. The laundry room, where we keep beach chairs, boogie boards and a large cooler for our guests, was such a mess that I couldn't walk into it! We had the unit cleaned prior to our guests arrival, but didn't have it cleaned afterwards b/c we knew we'd be coming up. When all is said and done, I regret that our renters didn't remark on our beautiful view, our clean and kid friendly accomodations, and Sea Watch's unparalled amenities.
Great family place
Great family place
This Sea Watch condo was a great place for a family get-away! It was very clean and offered everything you need. We especially enjoyed the extra amenities the Sea Watch included such as an in-house ice cream shop, tennis courts and a volleyball court. These extras make for a nice family experience. Thanks Carroll! Linda & Chris Kemble

Great family vacation
Great family vacation
Our family stayed at this unit and can't wait to come back and visit again. It's the perfect set up for us as we enjoy the beach (just steps away from the building), but our kids want to do other things. There's so much to do here, in addition to the beach. It was extremely relaxing with the gorgeous views from not only the balcony, but outside the front door overlooking the bayside. The owner was very accommodating to our needs and provided us with great suggestions of other activities to enjoy on our visit.

Year Purchased: 1976
About: My husband is a practicing attorney. We are original owners of unit 1304 having purchased the condo when our 3 boys were small. Now they are grown with children of their own who enjoy Sea Watch as much as we did!
Why Sea Watch:
We wanted something in Ocean City and looked at many buildings. A friend with an engineering background recommended 3 buildings (Sea Watch among them) for their structural integrity. We choose Sea Watch for its location across from shops, restaurants and movie theater--and for its spectacular view!
