You can rent just for 2 people or up two 12 people.This house is well taken care of in look and cleanliness. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are big in size. The living room provides much comfort with one big couch and love seat and 2 single couch seats where a movie can be watched and there is also a beautiful field stone gas fire place and a piano in this room.
The dining room contains a huge dining room table that seats 8. The kitchen has many cupboards that contain pots and pans along with dishes and silverware for use and also an oven, microwave, and refrigerator w/upper freezer and a kitchen table that seats 4.
It also has 4 nicely decorated bedrooms (3 of the rooms have queen size beds and 1 room has 2 twin (single) beds. The bunk room contains one double (for 2) hide-a-bed (that changes from a sofa to a bed) and 1 twin (single) folding bed that can roll out and be put in to any of the rooms.
The outside has beautiful towering trees surrounding the house with a big fire pit (wood and brush provided next to fire pit-for burning) where you can roast marshmellows and make s'mores.
The lake is right in front of the house where there is a pier in the water that you can walk on or dock your boat(if you have one)and a complimentary row boat (oars provided) and also a complimentary canoe (paddles provided) on the shore. All activities are to be done at your own risk (whether you're swimming, boating, or canoeing) but we ask that the equipment be used only for what it is suppose to be used for so it doesn't get ruined.

We (Tom & Nancy) both grew up in this area and anybody that has ever been here definitely agrees with us that we are from a bit of paradise with diamond sparkling waters and beautiful miles of gorgeous trees with much to offer in tourism for the summer lover or the winter lover. You can count on making many wonderful memories in this awesome setting and in the surrounding area. In dealing with us we find that we are honest, considerate, and fair people and are hoping for you to have the best time ever while you stay.

We know from growing up here what an absolutely beautiful 4 season area that we have been blessed with and enjoyed in our lives and the benefit of staying at this house is that we know the area so well that we can assist you with our knowledge so you can have many enjoyable experiences just as we have through the years. We do rent a 14ft. fishing boat w/10 h.p.engine for $325.a week or $75.a day to enjoy through the chain of lakes.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The most beautiful thing is to see the wild life right outside the window (eagles and many other types of birds) and also deer. The beautiful lake that this house is on is breathtaking and you can travel to 4 other lakes by being on this one. For the avid fisherman there are awesome different types of fish in the lake (lakes). In the winter months, the snowmobile trail can be got onto right from the house with many neat locations to stop at for warming and food.

We had 7 adults and 2 children in our group and we never once felt like we were on top of each other! There was plenty of room for all. This home was beautiful inside and out! Extremely clean and well kept! We spent our week fishing and floating around the lakes. What a beautiful area ... we didn't want to leave! Our 3 year old got the experience of seeing a family of 5 deer walk across the lawn directly in front of her - how awesome! Every day we were out on the boat we saw loons, and several bald eagles. Great location- very close to Eagle River, St. Germain, and Rhinelander. Stay here -- you won't be disappointed!!!

This is the recommendation of 7 adults who just came back from a wonderful week of vacation at the Schneider - Wick home. It was everything that we were looking for, very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for all of us, and a nice quiet bay where we spent the majority of our time. We fished, (nice size crappies), and a large northern that got away. (Next time we'll remember the net....) Best yet, was the sandy bottom, we floated alot, and spent all our time outdoors, on the water, and on the deck. (Started the days on the deck with coffee, and ended our evenings on the deck.) We went to several local restaurants, and the food was great. The Sugar Camp chain is a best kept secret. Traveling through the channels to the other lakes was very enjoyable. We loved to cook in the expansive kitchen, and watch movies at night, again plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy! Bedrooms were nicely decorated, and comfortable. Saw loons and several eagles, to finish off one rememberable vacation!

We had a terrific week. The home was very spacious and well taken care of and the chocolates on the beds when we arrived was a nice touch. The chain of lakes provided great fishing and beautiful scenery. The location was close to many different activities. Thanks for the suggestion of having pizza from Johnny Nick's. Great food! We would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed for a week at this nice, lakefront home on Chain Lake and couldn't have been happier. The location was great as it was close to Rhinelander, Eagle River and St. Germain. Also, located on a nice, quiet lake with easy access to the rest of the chain. The house itself was neat, well taken care of, and had plenty of space. The yard was also very spacious and not crowded by other homes. We would definitely return and recommend this property to others that we know.

Home had everything we needed for family of 9 plus dog. Grandkids loved fishing from the dock and playing in the large yard Youngest granddaughter got to swim and fill her buckets with sand at least one day Since it rained everyday and was cold except for Friday lots of room in the house for everyone on rainy day and plenty of places to shop

Our family (and dog!) just got back from a fabulous week at this vacation rental. The home is spacious with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, so there is plenty of room for all. The setting is gorgeous with a sandy beach and lovely scenery. This home is on Chain Lake, which is connected to 4 other lakes, that with a motor boat, you can go to all the lakes and never fish the same place twice! The owners were very kind and very helpful. I know we will be back and recommending this to our friends.
