We really enjoyed a wonderful week at this villa. The view was amazing and the property was as wonderful as it looks in the photo's. Sally, Peter and Faith couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wishing to escape and relax. We could have stayed in all week and not left the villa had it not been for our two children wanting to explore the island. We loved the kayak and the water was breath taking. We would visit again and are missing the peaceful lifestyle. Ten out of Ten!!!!

Seafeathers and Ocean Palms

We are a group of four couples and stayed at Ocean Palms for ten days from March 1st to March 10th 2012. This review should really start with the property manager, Peter Collier. He met us at the airport and helped shuttle our luggage to the villa, showed us every feature the villa had to offer and took care of equipping it with things that it did not have. Peter also suggested using Grace Bay Car Rental, using his name they gave us a 10% break on the two vehicles we rented which was a nice surprise. The villa was not lacking a thing. We only stayed at the villa one day and were out exploring TCI the rest of the time. After coming home late afternoons we would jump in the pool and bask in the sun until going to dinner. Ocean Palms is right on the water and has a staircase down to the ocean that several times we were able to go in for a dip and take the kayak out once or twice.I can't say enough about Ocean Palms, Peter Collier from Seafeathers, Todd and Leslie Foss from Grace Bay Car Rentals. If you should be looking for a private beautiful villa that offers all the amenities and is well maintained, then look no further.

Beautiful, Relaxing, Perfect

We had a great stay at Ocean Palms. We have stayed in a number of villas in a number of islands and this was among the best. The location is amazing. The water, the sunrises, the sunsets, it even has it's own little reef to snorkel around right at the bottom of the stairs. Our kids (13 and 10) saw lobster, pufferfish, lionfish, squid and tons of beautiful tropical fish. The house is perfect. Everyone has their own little retreat when they need it but most of the time can be spent outside enjoying the view, the water and the sun. Turtle Tail is very convenient to the grocery store, all of the shops/restaurants. You enjoy all of the great aspects of the island but have privacy. Peter was very helpful and made everything easy and stress free. We had a great stay and look forward to coming back.

Words cannot do justice to our Ocean Palms Villa vacation. Peter and Sally were most helpful before our arrival answering all of our questions. Peter met us at the airport where we picked up our rental car and then followed him to the villa. We were impressed with the house as we made our way to the front doors - but when Peter opened the doors and we saw the house and the view to pool and ocean it took our breath away. We had arrived in paradise! Ocean Palms is beautiful and is laid out so that everyone has their privacy. The kitchen has all that you need to prepare and enjoy meals if you decide not to visit one of the many wonderful restaurants on the island. A trip to Da Conch Shack is a must. There are plenty of floats and the kayak made for great fun. The location of the villa provides beautiful sunrises and sunsets. But it is the view of the ocean that we could not get over. The water colors are amazing. Ocean Palms has televisions and wi-fi if you must have them. We enjoyed the peace, quiet and relaxation we had for the week we were there. Peter and Sally were just a phone call away if we had any questions or needed anything. We drove to both ends of the island and found some pretty beaches. All of the people on the island were very friendly. If you are an animal lover be sure to stop by the TCASPCA and learn about the island Potcakes. Besides our conch shells our Turks and Caicos vacation souvenir is a precious potcake that will be arriving to us in a couple of weeks. The one question we asked when arriving back in the real world was "Why did we leave?". Vacations don't get any better than this!

Our stay lasted 2 weeks and it was simply great. The villa exceeded our expectations by far and we found everything exactly as the homepage suggests. The house is at a wonderful location, we enjoyed its comfort, the beauty of the scenery, the privacy – and the friendly helpfulness of our hosts Peter and Maggie, who made us feel welcome from day one to the last minute! We can truly recommend the villa for a great, relaxing vacation!!! Or, as we Swiss would say in our Swiss-German dialect: "Äs isch wunderschön gsi! Merci viumau!" Edith and Hans Peter Hartmann

Seclusion in Paradise

Ocean Palms is the perfect house for just the right amount of privacy. The house was great for our family of five with plenty of room. There is a pool, the sea right off the dock, and a kayak to paddle out to the cays and the beach. We've stayed at Taylor Bay in the past and loved the beach. However, for the privacy, Turtle Tail is much preferred. We stayed for 10 days and never shared the beach with another soul. The proximity to the IGA was a plus, as well. Our family would recommend this house for anyone wanting to spend quality time together, away from the distractions of the resorts. We enjoyed every second of our vacation thanks to Sea Feathers accurate descriptions and availability to answer any questions.

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon a few days ago and are already planning our return to Ocean Palms! This was our first foray away from a traditional resort setting, and frankly, we are converts. The villa is extraordinary! It's a multi-million dollar property and it shows! The craftsmanship is meticulous, the villa and it's landscaping are maintained beautifully...but the VIEW is the real star!! The ocean views surprised me every time I looked out the window (almost all the windows face water!) or lifted my eyes from the book I was reading beside our PRIVATE pool. The colors of the water simply cannot be taken for granted. We thoroughly enjoyed the full kitchen where we made breakfast and grilled a dinner or two and dined outside (marveling at the view, of course!) The master suite was beautiful and separate from the main house. It had an impressive bathroom and closet space for hiding luggage so we could pretend Ocean Palms was our home! The porch swing outside the master suite was a favorite spot for drinking tea (or homemade margaritas...) and watching the colors of the water change. The property manager, Peter, was a highlight of our stay. He picked us up at the airport and had us follow him in our rental car to the villa and then spent time with us, helping us orient ourselves in the property and recommending favorite local spots to visit. While we fantasize about owning a property like Ocean Palms, I think we've contented ourselves with returning to this villa every few years with family and friends! Turks and Caicos is a very special place and Ocean Palms gave us the feeling that we were a part of the local community. Highly Recommended!

A wonderful stay at Ocean Palms

Trying to find the perfect travel accommodations to satisfy the varied needs of an extended family, including some adults accustomed to 5-star resorts as well as a special needs child, was not going to be easy, but we happily landed at Ocean Palms for our most recent holiday. A lovely, comfortable and secluded property which, once you relax on the loggia and enjoy the ocean view, you are quite reluctant to leave. Happily, after we stocked up with anything we needed from the IGA close by, we found that we only ventured out to eat the occasional meal or try a new beach. Laziness took on a new dimension here! Questions answered/needs met in a snap by Peter & Sally of Seafeathers, who went above & beyond to ensure our vacation was peaceful, hassle-free and a respite from everyday life, from start to finish.

We have been renting homes around the world through vrbo for several years now and with Ocean Palms, have found our new favorite! The villa has a wonderful layout that invites you to take in the incredible views of the bay from practically every room and seemed perfectly situated to shield you from the occasional tradewinds. As others have noted, the covered outdoor area was wonderful! We also appreciated that the shallow "kiddie" section of the pool was shaded, allowing the little ones to stay outside longer. There are also two wood-covered decks with comfy lounge chairs - one prime for the morning sun and one for the afternoon rays. In our opinion, the villa is located on the perfect part of the island: an easy 15 minute drive from the airport, close to the well-stocked IGA, on a calm and shallow bay, quite close to a 5 star PADI dive center, and on the quiet side of the island with homes on spacious lots and without the crowded high-rise condos. Sally and Peter of Seafeathers spoiled us... Whenever we needed anything - advice, directions, a gas can for the waverunner we rented, etc., they were right on it and truly made our vacation to a new place easy and welcoming! It seemed like we had our own private concierge, which was quite the value-added perk. We will definitely be coming back!

The Perfect Vacation

This was my first time staying at a villa listed on VRBO. The pictures on the website looked beautiful, but sometimes you just never know if the pictures are reflective. When I walked into the villa, all I can say is "breathtaking". The villa is absolutely amazing, as advertised. The rest of the reviewers were accurate in their assessment of Seafeathers (the management team). Sally and Peter were extremely helpful in every aspect (from recommendations to letting us park our jet skis on their private beach!) We knew that they were just a phone call away if we needed anything. I only needed to call on one issue (the blender was broken! Which would have been a tragedy!), but within 2 minutes Peter was at the door with a new one (not kidding!). In our party, we had two families, ranging from a 3 year old, pre-teens to 40 somethings (8 of us total), and we never felt crowded. The villa offered us all the luxuries we could need, wireless internet, flat screen tv's, dvd player, and an assortment of dvds, and books to read. Most of the time though, we found ourselves playing on this beautiful island. We were on jet skis one day, and another we were having a bonfire on the beach. We played in our pool and on the beach, we snorkeled (literally you can snorkel right in back of the villa - many great conch there!), and kayaked many times to the beach and for morning "strolls" (The villa was equipped with 1 kayak, so we requested an add'l one). We enjoyed a conch tour, and many hours just relaxing in the backyard oasis. I've been to many Carib. islands, and so far this is my favorite. The natives here are genuinely nice people. My jaunts on the island showed nothing but beautiful land and amazing turquoise waters. Some tips when you come to Provo: Grace Bay is around the corner, we were surprised at all of the American items they carry - wonderful! Don't forget water and ice. When using the kayak, you'll need two strong people to lift it out of the water when you return to the villa. You'll need a car. Other than that, all of the recommendations for island "things to do" Peter and Sally can help with. What an amazing time we had! Looking forward to returning!!!

The Best Vacaton We've Ever Had

A wise older friend once told me to save, invest, and don't be wasteful....but when it comes to family vacations, splurge a bit if you can. After all, you're creating memories that will last a lifetime. When we returned home from the Ocean Palms Villa on Provo our family of four agreed it was our best vacation yet. Ocean Palms was nicer than even the pictures that we looked at on the Sea Feathers web site. Our boys stayed in the main house and my wife and I enjoyed the large and private master suite. We had planned on doing more activities, but after seeing the villa we ended up spending most of our time right there. We loved the private pool and easy access to the ocean. We especially appreciated the kindness and hospitality of Peter and Sally Collier. While respecting our privacy, they made themselves available when we needed some help or guidance, and though we were just on the island for a week, we feel we have new friends in the Turks and Caicos Islands. We should have tried more restaurants, but we went to Da Conch Shack 4 times. My wife and I also had a very nice private dinner at Hemingways. I'd recommend the Colliers and specifically Ocean Palms to everyone. Mike/ in Alabama

Ocean Palms is a beautiful place, far enough away from everything that its quiet, peaceful and private, but close enough that its not a hassle to pick up groceries or drinks. The pictures you see are exactly what you get, the house is well maintained, clean and well stocked. As people who like to cook, we really appreciated the new Weber BBQ grill. What really distinguishes Ocean Palms from some of the other nicer homes, is the attention from Peter and Sally. Always there to help and offer advice, they are invaluable, like a great concierge team. Any concerns, questions or issues are immediately dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.

Beautiful Honeymoon Location

We spent our perfect 1 week honeymoon at Ocean Palms. The property is exactly as pictured. Very private and peaceful. Very clean. Kitchen and BBQ were great- cooked most meals at home since the villa had everything we were looking for. We rented a vehicle to tour around. The villa was central to everything on this little island! Access to the kayak was great- even snorkeled off the stairs of our villa! Peter and Sally were very helpful, picked us up, brought us to our car rental and were a great source of information for restaurants and activities on the island. Would definitely recommend this villa to everyone!

We just returned from a 2 week vacation staying at Ocean Palms Villa in Turks & Caicos. If you are looking for a peaceful, restful holiday this Villa is perfect. The Villa is clean, well kept with amazing views. You can swim in the pool or swim in the clean turquoise water of the ocean. There is a lovely beach just a short kayak away. It is the perfect place for families. Peter & Sally of Seafeathers were wonderful. Very helpful and always available. We would not hesitate to recomment this Villa and Seafeathers.

A "home away from home"

Ocean Palms Villa is truly a "home away from home!" Three couples made this villa their home for two weeks and it was "heaven on Provo Island." This villa would be perfect for three/four couples or a family because of its spacious lay-out. SeaFeathers owner, Peter, was an awesome host and was only a phone call away when needed. The villa and property was beautiful and we were only steps away from the Caribbean Sea where we snorkeled and swam right in front of the villa. The covered porch area was our "hang-out" place; plenty of room for all of us to do as we wished (eat, sleep, read, swim in the pool). The island is user friendly and we were minutes from everything. The islanders were genuinely friendly and courteous. We have traveled to many islands and Provo has become one of our favorite. Great restaurants: Caicos Cafe, Tiki Hut, Hemingway's, Opus, and Las Brisas. Places of interest: Grace Bay Beach, Dive Provo (snorkeling or diving), Ocean Palms Villa Looking forward to a return stay on Provo!!!

Recently stayed in Ocean Palms and could not have imagined a better experience. The property was very well maintained, the view was breathtaking, and the peacefulness was second to none. The property has the added benefit of a top notch caretaker--Seafeathers. We were met at the airport to make sure there were no problems finding the property. After providing a tour of the house and a brief introduction, we were given the owners (Sally & Peter) of Seafeathers cell phone numbers and told to call if we needed anything. Any time we had questions about the island, needed directions, or recommendations, we simply called Seafeathers and they were more than happy to assist. We visited many places on Provo and believe Ocean Palms to have the best view on the island. We would highly recommend this property and the five star service that accompanies it.
