This is a stunning, sophisticated, and serene single-family home in the exclusive and upscale "North of Montana" area of Santa Monica. The setting is private and extremely quiet, featuring multi-million dollar homes on beautiful and spacious tree-lined streets. Just a couple of short blocks away is the famous Montana shopping district (which is the locals' favorite area for many high-end boutiques, restaurants, bars, cafes, frozen yogurt and ice cream shops, movie theatres, yoga and massage studios, etc.).

The house itself is beautifully maintained and updated, featuring 2 bedrooms plus a 3rd room that is set up to work as both a bedroom and an office, 2 full baths, a large dining room, a huge and gorgeous living room with fireplace, a full-featured kitchen (including a top-of-the-line Miele stainless steel dishwasher and all the cooking appliances, equipment, and dishes/utensils you could want), and a separate laundry room (with top-of-the-line Bosch front-loading washer and dryer). The house is bright and spacious, with lots of windows and hardwood floors, and it has incredible character that feels warm and comfortable. There is also great outdoor space with gorgeous landscaping, outdoor furniture, and a BBQ. The two main bedrooms have brand new, top-of-the-line king-size beds with luxurious linens, and the third bedroom/office has a luxurious queen sofa sleeper that is extremely comfortable and based on a patented orthopedic design. Housekeeping and private therapeutic massage are also available.

The location is ideal for vacationers. Take a short walk or bike ride to the beach and Santa Monica pier, the 3rd Street Promenade (shops, restaurants, and movie theaters), Montana Avenue (locals’ favorite area for upscale boutiques, restaurants, bars, cafes, yoga, Pilates, etc.), LA's best farmers' markets, and abundant recreation including hiking, swimming, tennis, golf. Close to public transportation and freeway access (5-minute drive to the 10 or 405).

  • We had a most enjoyable 2 week stay at this house. It is conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood just a short walk from restaurants and shops - ideal for a morning stroll to have breakfast in nearby cafes. The house is comfortable and clean and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. We will certainly rent again.

We were three women returning to Santa Monica to attend a 40th high school reunion and were looking for a place akin to what we remembered from our years growing up in Santa Monica. This home was perfect-great location,very quiet neighborhood,and was fully equipped. The beds were very comfortable,including the sofa bed. Loved the charm of the home as it was well furnished,immaculately clean and had many original features intact. We would love to rent this home again for our 45th. We highly recommend this rental home and truly appreciate the care and effort the owner has put in to maintain this property

  • We had a very good time at the location. The appartment is comfortable, large and nicely arranged. The BBQ is very convenient and the outside space in front of the house is pleasant. The master bedroom bed is large and the bed is exceptional, something we really appreciate. There were also a lot of towels and furniture for the house. The only improvment would be to include more tools in the kitchen, it is sometimes a bit limited but can be overcome (plate, knifes, wine glass...)

  • We stayed at this house for one month. It was quite comfortable for a family of 6. It is freshly painted and well appointed with nice art to martini glasses. The front garden was very relaxing especially in the evening. It is a great location with good restaurants and shops within 2 blocks.
