My name is Brian. I live in St. Paul, Minnesota where I run a small residential remodeling company. My wife Jennifer and I have 2 kids ages 3 and 6 that keep us plenty busy. We enjoy getting away from the city and heading to the lake whenever we have the time. We manage the property on behalf of the family.
Why the Owner Chose Little Boy Lake
Over the years, I have made many trips to Little Boy Lake and adjoining Lake Wabedo for its great fishing. After a long search for an "extended-family" cabin to be enjoyed with all the grandchildren, my in-laws purchased this great place on a beautiful lake.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The thing we enjoy most about the property are the views, the lakeshore, the fishing, and mostly the seclusion. The property backs up to endless county land with many options for the outdoor enthusiast.

Great place for a summer vacation

The pictures and listing info were most accurate re: appearance and amenities. The manager (son in law) and his wife were most helpful in answering our questions re: lake (had 2 "pug" lakes where it was great for the 4 and 6 year old boys to catch sunfish and crappies + good for walleye,bass and muskie fishing as well); cabin ( washer and dryer in the big bathroom was great; had picnic table right outside the main patio doors off the kitchen - so handy; plenty of good beds; loved living room for playing games at night and dancing to the radio's music; kitchen - well furnished and just the right size for fixing meals); beach ( small but "secret" and provided shade for whoever was watching the children in the water); sandbeach ( clean and nice size); yard - nicely mowed and great area to play ball and other lawn sports; firepit + Weber grill - thanks!; distance to beach/boat - just right; not a big dropoff and grassed as it headed down to the water's edge. The manager and his wife even met us at the boat launch to guide us to the cabin...talk about "going above and beyond!" 6 of us stayed 5 days and look forward to going again; we would definitely recommend it to friend or relative. Of course, don't forget the Turtle Races on Wed in Longville - our grandson got 1st in his heat and we all enjoyed his coupon to use towards ice cream (and pizza) at Frosty's.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Very peaceful and quiet setting. No neighbors in earshot at all. 5 kids and 2 adults were very comfortable. Great sandy lake bottom for swimming with the kids. Fishing is great on Wabedo and Little Boy, and diverse with all the species. We also experienced Bald Eagles resting in the Pines above the fire pit. Overall, great place to unwind and get away from it all.

This is an absolutely wonderful rental property!! I rented the cabin for a college reunion and it was perfect for our group of 6, though it could have easily accommodated up to 8. The home is clean, smoke-free, and well maintained with everything you need for an ultra-private getaway (we LOVED using the canoe, the firepit (firewood generously provided!), and the new Weber grill.) The home is surprisingly secluded and features beautiful overlooks of the lake. Stay here for a vacation to remember!
