Stoneleigh Cottage Rental is in a central location on River Road overlooking the beautiful Niagara Gorge and River.
The property is ideal for families who wish to spent time together, there are four bedrooms each with it's own bathroom. One room has a new king bed, en suite. TV. Two rooms have a queen bed en suites and TV. The fourth room has a queen bed and two singles beds, private bathroom, this room is ideal for a family with younger children, a crib is also available upon request.
There is a large back garden with lawn area and two decks.
We are within easy walking distance to The Falls, or you can use The People Mover Bus Service, which is just a block away from Stoneleigh. This will take you to all the major attractions in Niagara. Niagara-on-the Lake is just twenty minutes drive along the parkway.
There is so much to see and do in The Niagara Region - we are more than just The Falls.

I was born in England and came to Canada in 1964, we choose The Niagara Region because of it's natural beauty. This region is called The Banana Belt of Ontario, our winter's are not as harsh as other parts of Canada, which suits me very well.

We just returned from our weeks' stay at Stoneleigh and it was just what we needed. The location was wonderful - within walking distance of the falls and a short drive to all other activities. The house was cozy, well equipped and very clean. Also perfect amount of space for our two families totaling 7. We appreciated the warm welcome from the owner, Muriel and all the helpful tips! In fact, throughout our entire transaction Muriel and Jane were a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

I have stayed 5 days at Stoneleigh with all my family (Mother and father, brother sister and their wife and kids) The place was so great, we were twelve in one house and we were looking for others sometimes. Wow! We had everything we need, we were near for the falls and most of the attractions. We could easily walk to go everywhere we want, casino, restaurants, Clifton Hill...Kids could have play in the garden by day and watch DVD in the living room in the evening. Every morning we could take our coffee on the terrace by the garden. The place was a B&B before so all the room get his own bathroom and conditionned air. All the place was soundproof then we have could take a nap at anytime of the day and even when the kids were getting up early, nobody was bothered by their play. the dinning room was large enough so we can all eat at the same table. I also get a crib and a high chair for the baby. My brother had a large room with a bed for him and two other for his little girls. It was a perfect place for us and so much better than an hotel because kids were together and so much more free to play outside and inside. Thank you very much Muriel for the great time we had!

My husband and daughter and another couple and their son all stayed at this property for a week in June 2010. We had a great time. The home was well appointed with lots of space-we all had our own bedroom-and very clean. There were many amenities such as a crib, high chair, grill etc.. which made traveling and vacationing with children much easier. The house had everything we needed and was in a great location. We could easily walk to the falls, even with the kids in tow, or take the people mover-which practically picks you up at the front door! Grocery stores are nearby and easy to find as well as local restaurants. The DVD player in the family room was a great bonus-kids loved it. The dining room and living room did not have a/c units and the windows don't open which can make things a little stuffy in there. But overall it was a great location, great rental-easy to work with the owner and no complaints. We would stay again and highly recommend Stoneleigh to other travelers, especially those with kids!
