  This was our third year attending the Oktoberfest and the 1st time we actually stayed in town. Definitely the way to go. This condo was excellent. The all around convenience could not have been better. Having Betty's right there was great. The listing was accurate, it will actually sleep more than is listed if you rent the entire unit. The living area was great, we all piled in there to watch the end of the football games. We all agreed that we will try and rent this place again next year for our 4th annual Oktoberfest trip. Kela was great to work with. We ate at the Ole Bavarian Inn and the Troll Tavern. The Inn's food is more authentic. Troll Tavern was good for catching up on the games.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

  "We needed a nice relaxing weekend getaway with friends and this condo did not disappoint. Very clean, cozy and close to everything in town. Once you park the car you really don't need it to explore the wonderful downtown area of Helen, Ga. Being so close to a country store was helpful as well since we decided to cook most of our meals ourselves. The flat screens in every room, hot tub and movies are a nice touch and were used many times. Also great bonus having Wifi, can't go anywhere without connectivity nowadays! Thank you very much and we will return in the future!"

  "This was the perfect place for a girls' getaway in the mountains. The location was so convenient, we were able to walk around Helen and enjoy the Oktoberfest celebrations without having to worry about driving afterwards. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very homely. It was also very quiet at night. Kela could not have been more helpful."

  "The condo is in the perfect location, easy walking distance to everything in Helen. The condo is VERY well maintained, clean and comfortable. The pictures shown on the website are very accurate. Kela, the owner was wonderful to work with, she was helpful answering all questions and was very accomodating to our group. I would recommend this property to even my pickiest friend and relative. There was nothing that I could complain about. We would not hesitate to rent from Kela again and are already making plans for next year's Octoberfest. Thank you Kela for sharing your mountain condo with us!"

  "We stayed here over labor day weekend and the cabin was very nice. It felt like home and the location was perfect, we were able to walk to downtown in less then 5 minutes and Ruby Falls was only about 2 miles away, we will definitely be returning."

  "My husband and I as well as several of our friends spent the weekend of 8/27/2010 in this beautiful condo. Not only was this condo beautiful but it was also very convenient to downtown and everything. We walked every where we went in Helen. To not have to be bothered with finding parking was a blessing. The price was very competitive we had no problems everything went very smooth. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone who is looking for something in town. Can't wait till we are able to return for another stay. Thanks to Kela and her family for sharing their condo."

  "It is alot nicer in person than what you see in the pictures.We stayed 3 nights and it was great. My wife loved it and my sister in law and brother in law enjoyed it also.You are 1 block from downtown Helen and a grocery store across the street. Excellent."

  "This was absolutely the best equipped condo for rental that I have ever seen. I have a five star time share and the little extras meant a lot to the famly. There were movies, magazines, books and games in the room. The hot tub was great. I was so impressed with the spices that were left in the kitchen. We truly enjoyed being next to the grocery store"
