  I have to be honest....I held my breath as we entered onto the property, hoping that all of the pictures and reviews would meet my expectations and they most certainly did! The grounds of the property was pristine, and we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by several deer. The decor and amenities in the unit, were pretty exact as shown in pictures. It definitely reminded me of home as we enjoyed the modern, yet comfortable decor. The master bath is simply divine!! Its very spacious, relaxing and has a jetted oversized tub and shower. The owner was so kind as to leave nice toiletries for guests uses. All in all we were very satisfied, and are in talks of the next time we can reserve this unit. Julianne was prompt in her response, and even when I needed to make changes to our reservation, she was very accommodating. Julianne, thanks to you, my family is a believer in this property and the Lago Vista experience!

  This was a fabulous getaway for an extended weekend. The boat slip was perfect to allow us to spend all day on the lake. My kids enjoyed the pool as well. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We cooked everynight with ease. The spices came in handy at the condo! The highlight was watching the deer outside of the balcony every night. They were incredible. I even used the wifi to complete some work. Thank you so much for a fabulous relaxing get away.

  This condo was amazing. It had the best kitchen with all necessary cooking untensils for my friends to cook some amazing meals. The beds and the masterbedroom were beautiful and amazing. The pool area was great and the service was super helpful and accomodating.

  This is a very nice and luxurious condo with beautiful property grounds. It would be difficult to find a more affordable place that comfortably sleeps 4 - 6 people with this level of luxury. The master bathroom is spacious and pristine with both a shower and jet tub. The balcony is very nice despite not having much of a lake view. There are a lot of deer in the area that are nice to see but you have to be very careful and alert while driving (especially at night). My family stayed here over Thanksgiving and I wouldn't recommend that because so many property amenities were closed or held strange hours and the property is quite out of the way. My wife and I were hoping to visit the spa but it was closed the entire time of our stay and our calls were never returned :-(.

  After looking at the price of hotels for a family of 6, I turned to this listing for condo rentals. I had never rented before, but knew if we spent 4 days in a hotel we would be spending a lot of money on activities for our kids as well as food. I decided to check out a condo rental and was surprised to see it so affordable. We had an excellent experience renting this property. Julianne responded quickly to every question I had. Every transaction went smoothly and timely. Very friendly owners. Lake Travis was quiet and our family had a wonderful time boating on the lake. The Island condos are quiet and property is very well maintained. We spent four days during Memorial Day weekend at this property and were pleasantly surprised to see the pool not full of people as well as this area of the lake. If you want a quiet get away this is the place! There were games and movies right in the condo, which made it nice. The condo is stocked with many supplies, i.e. sugar, coffee, creamer, and spices. The condo is clean and inviting. Customer service with owner was excellent and above expectations. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a relaxing get away. We found ourselves able to enjoy quality family time and not running to various activities to keep children busy. We had plenty of room and this was much better than being stuck in a small hotel room. This was my first experience renting a vacation property and was much more than I expected. Thanks Julianne for making renting so easy and providing a wonderful experience for my family and I. We ate at Bam's while we were there and enjoyed the burgers and nice friendly atmosphere. Our boat rental was quick and easy. Julianne provides a binder in the condo with many marina rentals as well as local restaurants. This was an easy reference and made accessing local amenities much quicker.

  Our family of six was headed to Texas for a family wedding and several days of vacation in the Austin area. Our travel planning began with a search for hotels that could accommodate us with two adjoining rooms. As a frequent business traveler, the more I contemplated a week-long stay in a hotel, the more I was dreading our upcoming trip to Texas. On a whim, I began searching for vacation rentals and had the wonderful fortune of stumbling upon Julianne's beautiful Lake Travis Condo. Priced way better than two middle-of-the-road hotel rooms, and infinitely more comfortable, this island retreat was exactly the home away from home we needed. The remodel is very tastefully done. The unit is impeccably clean, the furniture is all new, as are the beds which are very comfortable. Having a laundry room meant we could pack light, and having a full kitchen saved us the cost and hassle of trying to eat out every meal for a week. The two HDTVs made watching the Vancouver Olympics a fun way to wrap up each exciting day. Although the unit is 30 or 40 minutes from downtown Austin, it smack in the middle of Texas hill country and is minutes from many beautiful and scenic destinations. It also happens to be just 10 minutes Villa Antonia where the family wedding was to take place. For us, this Lake Travis retreat was precisely what we needed. It was convenient, comfortable, secure, scenic and serene. To make things even better, Julianne is wonderful, easy to work with, and easy to get a hold of. If our experience had been anything less than perfect, I would not hesitate to say so. But for us, this rental was a truly perfect Lake Travis getaway.

  Very comfortable, nicely decorated and beautiful . We stayed there with our three kids and there was plenty of space for everybody. Would definitely recommend to my friends

  What a beautiful place, and so quiet. My husband, parents and I really enjoyed our stay - especially seeing so many deer right below our balcony. The fitness center/spa is very nice also. Thanks Julie!

  We enjoyed our visit at this condo on the Island at Lake Travis. Everything in the picture is accurate. The unit was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. When we first got there, we saw about 8 deers roaming in front of our balcony, as if welcoming us on our stay, of course the kids got so excited with this. The owner, Julianna was very friendly and professional. She was willing to work things out according to our needs. The unit is provided with basic staples like coffee, salt, sugar, etc. The kitchen is also fully equipped. And of course clean towels and toiletries. There is also a WiFi connection available, so both my daughter and hubby were really pleased with this. The amenities of the resort was also appreciated. Water on the outside pool was still cold at that time, so we enjoyed their indoor pool. The entire resort is secluded and gated, so security is really good. Renting a boat was around the corner. The only thing I would advice though is make sure to bring whatever food/things you need because the resort is quite far from the nearest convenience store, maybe about 20 minutes. And also the trash can in the kitchen should be bigger. We cooked a lot and the trash can got filled up really quick :) (but on the good side, the trash chute is just outside the unit). I would definitely recommend this unit to anybody that wants peace and quiet and away from the busy city life. Thanks Julianne for letting us use your property.
