The spacious master bedroom has a plush, pillow-topped queen-sized bed, cherry wood dresser, huge walk-in closets, a bathroom with double sinks, Jacuzzi tub, its own walk-in closet, and Swiss shower. A second bedroom has a queen futon on a platform, the third has two twins. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, refrigerator, microwave, oven and lots of cooking utensils. The Florida Room, great for entertaining or lounging, has Dish network TV a DVD player and stereo. It overlooks a large backyard with barbecue. Sleeps 6. WE ALSO HAVE DSL.
A beautiful beach and fine restaurants are just blocks away. Vibrant South Beach is 12 minutes drive. Buses and taxis are all walking distance. Why rent a condo when you can rent a whole house?

Owner Description
My name is Tammerlin Drummond. I am a journalist living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Casa Surfside is my second home. I bought it in the mid-90s while I was based in South Florida working for Time Magazine. I loved the area so much that I kept my home and furnished it for vacation rentals. The great part is that I still get to visit, though not nearly as much as I would like. I have a wonderful manager who makes sure that Casa Surfside is always spiffy for our next guest.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Casa Surfside is very peaceful. Whenever I need to get away and recharge this is where I come. It's a very quiet, family oriented neighborhood. The streets are lined with palm trees swaying in the breeze. Inhaling the sea air is invigorating. The nearby beaches are gorgeous and not overcrowded. The beauty of surfside is that we are close enough to South Beach--just 12 minutes drive--to zip down there for the nightlife. But we're not in the middle of all of the noise and hustle and bustle and craziness. You can get a good rest at night.
