Great location, 100' from the lifts. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable throughout. We were only there three days but the owners bent over backwards to help us during our stay. Loved the hot tub, locker rooms, and the staff was great. Underground parking during the bad weather was great. Next building had lift tickets and rentals. We ate at the new restaurant at the condo and found quite good even though they were winding down the season. Our only negative is the unit is a bit dark, otherwise worth every penny.

This condo was everything we had hoped and then some. The owners have thought of everything. It is spotlessly clean, great location, great views. Really I can't say enough about this condo at Soaring Eagle. It is very large and roomy. The place to rent skis and get lift tickets is right in this building. You walk right out of the locker room and ski down a green run flume. You can get to anywhere on the mountain from here and at the end of the day come right up Soaring Eagle lift to return. The owners called to check in on us the first night and had a beautiful gift basket delivered to us. We then went to one of the 3 hot tubs outside with fresh towels in the workout area. Perfect. Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful and in the evening you must check out the huge real fireplaces in the hearth room. Trust me you can not go wrong renting this condo. We will be back to this condo! Thank you for allowing us to us your beautiful home. It was perfect for our group.

We have stayed at Soaring Eagle many times. This was our first time in this room. It was not a room - but HOME! We were greeted with a welcome basket of treats from the owner. Additionally, the owner phoned us to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. From crock pot to dishes, this unit has it all. Perfect views, great decor.

Me and group of friends had a great stay at this condo. It was nice and clean. The owner allowed us to check-in early and that was great since we arrived before lunch. The only complaint I had was that the sheets and towels in the condo smelled like they were washed with cigarettes.
Owner response:Thank you , Caleb, for your comments on your stay at our unit. We are always interested to hear from our guest on their experience in staying in our condo. We take pride in our condo and want to make sure every experience is enjoyable. We apologize for the smell you experienced in the linens. We have only had this comment one other time. However, we will be changing our linen service immediately. Hope you will consider staying with us in the future.

We had a wonderful time staying at this Soaring Eagle Condo. The condo was beautiful, very clean, spacious and felt like home. The balcony was one of a kind that provided outstanding views and a great place to relax outside. My kids loved the condo also. The condo was stocked with many games that provided fun times during a rain storm. We will definately be back again next year. I definately recommend this unit!!

We very much enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend staying in this lovely condo with a particularly well-designed layout. This neat and clean condo was beautifully furnished (I was quite taken by the light fittings) with everything one would need. Although Snowshoe was rather quiet over the weekend, we were more than happy to escape the sweltering temperatures (mid-90s) in Northern Virginia and spend the weekend in the WVa mountains where it was a much more bearable mid-70s/low 80s. My only cautionary note is that, off season, there are few restaurants open or places to purchase food to prepare in the condo, so I was happy that we had thought to bring most of what we needed with us.

What a beautiful condo. It was exactly as described and better. From the location on the slope to the attached Embers Resturant and especially the Hearth Room, made for a very relaxing stay. I highly recomend this unit. This was our third visit to Snowshoe Resort and we have stayed in other high end units but this was by far the best.

Our family just spent the week after Christmas at Soaring Eagle and loved it. The location was great for skiing and things to do. The condo itself was wonderful. Very spacious and comfortable. The views were fantastic. The staff at Soaring Eagle were very courteous and helpful. We arrived on a very windy, snowy day and it was fabulous having the heated garage with attendants to help unload our stuff. We would definitely stay at this condo again. The owners were a pleasure to work with.

My family and I stayed the week before Christmas and had a wonderful time. They unit is beautiful and well stocked. The location is great - easy access to the slopes, mini-mart in the building, gorgeous hearth room and a wonderful restaurant as well. The owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was a memorable one. We will definitely try to book this unit on our next trip to Snowshoe :)

Our family recently spent our vacation at this Soaring Eagle condo in Snowshoe, WV. It was early Fall and the scenery and atmosphere were incredible. This condo has all the amenities that we needed (and more). We brought some groceries with us and were able to cook breakfast each morning with the fully loaded kitchen. Our two young girls loved it! There are so many local attractions for tourism close by.... we visited several. The girls' favorite was the Railroad tour up through the mountains. Did I mention the hot tubs at Soaring Eagle? Aw yeah, we did spend some time in the hot tubs! We were able to walk out of the condo and begin our hike down through the mountains. We saw a bunch of deer, a flock of turkey, and other wildlife while we hiked. My girls are still talking about it. We'll be back!

We recently stayed in this unit at Soaring Eagle. It has great views and a huge deck. It is very clean and comfortable, and felt like home. The beds were very comfortable, with nice quality sheets and down pillows. The towels were thick and soft, and the washer and dryer came in handy. The owners were accommodating, very easy to work with, and they refunded our security deposit within 24 hours after we left. There is very little cell phone service in the area because of the Green Bank Telescope, but if you have AT&T you will have reception in the condo. And wi-fi too :-) There were very few people around, but the employees we met were very friendly and helpful. We had never rented privately before, it was a very pleasant experience and we would definitely rent this unit from this owner again in the future.

"Best View on the Mountain" is exactly right! We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. From the views from the deck to relaxing by the fireplace this condo has it all. The hot tubs are also a plus. Everyone there was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here next time we're in Snowshoe!

Merry Christmas And a Very Merry Christmas it has been! We arrived six days ago and left all the hustle and bustle behind us to truly enjoy a relaxing Christmas. From the time we entered the door (with a beautiful Christmas basket of goodies (thank you)), we felt very relaxed and at home. The views from the deck are beautiful. The skiing conditions have been incredible and we have had 3 days so far of great skiing and one day of tubing and of course at the end of each day a relaxing time in the hot tub. Today, on Christmas, it is very windy and rainy so we will stay in and enjoy a quiet family day of movies, board games and hot chocolate and end our day with a nice Christmas Dinner at Ember. If you truly want the ultimate hassle free experience of skiing, Soaring Eagle 217 is the place to be. We drove our car into the heated garage and put our skis in the heated locker room. The next day we went to the locker room put on our skis walked out the door and the ski lift was less than fifty feet away. We easily skied and used other ski lifts to get to the other end of the mountain. We tried out many trails and skied are way back to soaring eagle lift and right to the locker room. We took our skis off and went back to the condo from lunch and hot chocolate. After lunch we went back out and did it all over again. At the end the day we relaxed in one of the three heated hot tubs and watched the sun set over the mountains.. What a great day! Thank you for letting us use your cozy home for a memorable Christmas here at Snowshoe Merry Christmas, Ann Marie, Bob, Wesley and Bradley

My wife Jackie and I have stayed at this property. We have so far returned twice. Each time we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to it every year. The kitchen and island is perfectly set up to do a gourmet meal while serving martinis on the wrap around deck. The views are spectacular. After dinner and a great day of skiing you can take an elevator to your three outdoor hot tubs with tremendous views. Access to skiing could not be better. You have a very short walk to the rental shop to get your ski ticket and then the high speed lift is just a few feet away! You can see all this from the deck. Evening activity is also just a walk away. Many shops, restaurants and even an Irish Pub where you can enjoy the camaraderie. I wore a green lei I found on the slopes on St. Patricks day and I will never forget the fun we had. Good news is it is only a short walk back to your quiet comfortable bed for much needed rest. I can personally guarantee you will love this property.

This condo is impeccably decorated and provided us with Mountaintop lodging at its finest. The views from the expansive wrap around deck are amazing! The hot tubs outside are great - a nice bonus for guests! I would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Snowshoe.
