Jeff, my husband, built this log cabin with his father. We love Vermont and this log cabin, it is a very special place. You can find it because there is a Boston and Maine Blue Caboose in the field as you approach the property. It sits up on the side of a mountain looking out over the Hubberton Mountain Range.
Why the Owner Chose Brandon
The cabin is conveniently located 15 miles south of Middlebury and 17 miles north of Rutland. Burlington is an hour north. It sits up on the side of a mountain overlooking a valley with mountains in the background for spectacular views and sunsets behind the mountains. There are deer, turkeys, rabbits, and lots of birds
The Unique Benefits of this Log Cabin
We have big fires in the 6 foot wide stone fireplace, while enjoying the panoramic view. Deer walk by the cabin at dusk and even owls visit in the trees nearby.
