Welcome to the Mad River Valley and Mountainside Condominiums! Our condo is in the Mountainside Complex at Sugarbush Village, which is adjacent to Sugarbush Resort's Lincoln Peak base area. Sugarbush Village is home to seasonal restaurants, pubs, a ski rental & tuning shop, real estate offices and a day care center. Additionally, Sugarbush Health & Racquet Club, which offers daily passes to non-members for an additional fee, is only minutes away (within walking distance).

The Mad River Valley is a year-round recreation hub for downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, bird-watching, fishing, horseback riding, soaring, golf and tennis. AND DON'T FORGET FALL LEAF PEEPING. Nowhere in New England are the autumn colors more brilliant! It's all here in a four-season destination that is a true Vermont treasure.

Our condominium, which was renovated from top to bottom this summer, is a one bedroom unit, just perfect for a couple or a family of four (2 adults/2 children over the age of 5). Note that we do not rent our condo to groups with more than 2 adults. There is a king bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The newly renovated kitchen is generously equipped, making meal preparation a breeze! Don't forget to pick up some delicious chocolate (from Lake Champlain Chocolates) and coffee beans (from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters) to enjoy a steaming cup of cappuccino and a chocolate fondue after your meal.

The living room has a traditional fireplace for those chilly winter evenings and you'll find plenty of seasoned wood stored in dry sheds throughout the complex for your use. The flat screen TV is connected with digital cable and music service and also has a DVD/CD player that is Blu-ray compatible. The sliding glass door leading from the living room to the balcony has an eastern-facing view toward the White Mountains.

No need to bring everything along. We supply high thread count sheets and plenty of plush Egyptian cotton towels. Starter quantities of paper products, basic cleaning supplies & cooking staples are also provided. Of course, there are plenty of grocery stores in the area should you wish to save your food shopping activities until your arrival.

If skiing or boarding is your thing, you cannot get much closer to the slopes! The Mountainside complex is just off a connector trail, the Out To Lunch Trail, which leads to and from the Sugarbush lift system. With discounted lift tickets (we'll share our secrets for getting the lowest available price), you can walk to the edge of the parking lot, step into your skis or snowboard, and away you go! Returning to your condo for lunch or at the end of the day is just as easy. Ski right to your front door - conditions permitting. We also have an outside locker for ski equipment storage. How's that for convenience?

If you choose to visit in the summer, the condominium has a swimming pool on site for guest use. Cool off and relax after an active day in The Mad River Valley, or laze away the afternoon poolside with a book and a cool drink. The east-west orientation of the condo's windows allows you to take advantage of the mountain's cool summer breezes, keeping the unit pleasantly comfortable for sleeping without A/C. We also provide some adirondack chairs for use on the balcony during the warmer months.

Our location is close to many quaint village shops in Waitsfield and Warren, delectable restaurants, and a host of services you'll be pleasantly surprised to find in such a rural setting. Other area attractions include Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, The Bundy Center for the Arts, Trapp Family Lodge, Shelburne Museum, Green Mountain Audubon Center, Cabot Creamery, UVM Morgan Horse Farm, and much, much more. We're also within easy reach of Burlington, Montpelier, Middlebury, Waterbury, Northfield and Stowe.

We live in Waitsfield and run a local Inn. We personally manage all aspects of our condo rental - from taking reservations, to checking you in, to cleaning the unit after you depart. Allow us to share our knowledge of the region and its countless offerings to enhance your Vermont experience.

Interested? Save yourself some time by checking our availability calendar prior to submitting your enquiry. We update it each time a reservation is confirmed, so it is accurate. Please remember that we do not rent to groups with more than 2 adults.

Why the Owner Chose Warren

We purchased our condo in the mid-1980s because we absolutely loved spending time in Vermont. It was our special "getaway from the city" spot...playing in the snow in the winter; hiking and biking in the summer, and of course leaf peeping in the fall. In reality, there is something interesting to do here all year round. In 2004, we dropped out of the Corporate world & purchased a small B&B in Waitsfield, Vermont. Since we wanted to keep our condo for our retirement use, we put it on the rental market so we could share our slice of heaven with like-minded folks.
