My family of 3 enjoyed our stay at River View Haven! The sun shining through the trees in the afternoon made such beautiful reflections on the water, and the waterfalls farther down sounded so relaxing! The owners are so nice and easy to work with! the house is very clean and well equipped! Thanks so much for the peaceful stay here!

My family truly enjoyed the time we spent at the River View Haven property. We loved the seclusion of the cabin. We were able to relax, hike the property, swim and explore up the creek, and sit around the fire in the evening roasting marshmellows. We also were able to go and explore numerous waterfalls close to the cabin. I believe my family enjoyed the Pigpen Falls the most which was only a 35 minute drive, there were also a few others closer to the cabin. The cabin was nice with everything we needed.

What a great place! We are a family of three; myself, my husband and my 16 year old son. We were looking for a cabin to share with another family of three. We found the River View Haven and were looking forward to a relaxing 4th of July weekend of doing nothing. When we got to the cabin, it was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Everything you would need in the kitchen including a dishwasher, full refrigerator with ice dispenser and a great cooktop. The decor was absolutely beautiful, beds were very comfortable, plenty of room with upstairs and downstairs. We were looking forward to just relaxing with friends and literally not doing anything. However, there was a beautiful waterfalls brochure on the counter. We ending up hiking, treking and enjoying an amazing day in the Riley Moore Waterfalls. It was awesome! We are looking forward to going back again in the fall.

We were two couples 45-55 years old that stayed for a week at River View Haven in mid-May 2011. We used the cabin as our base to ride our motorcycles throughout the area. The property is so well thought out and well appointed that it met all of our needs. There is ample room to maneuver trailers, covered parking for our bikes. Though on a gravel road and having a gravel driveway both of which are well laid out, well maintained and gave us no problem, in the rain, on a Harley or pulling a loaded trailer up to the hard road. The parcel is so big we had no intrusion or interruption from anyone. Surprising to us was how close to town you were, 10-12 minutes. The Watts’ built a creek side fun area you will spend a lot of time at, fishing, swimming, building fires or just plain relaxing. Inside the cabin has top of the line features throughout. The double headed shower with pulsing heads came in handy after the day’s long ride. BTW, all 3 of our AT&T cell phones had 3-4 bars, cell phone service was excellent.

The photos accurately represent an attractive nicely decorated property. It was clean and well maintained. We liked the wood paneling, the large comfortable bedroom, and the completely equipped kitchen. My wife liked the "cute little touches" like the welcome bear. We found the location of the property and views very quiet and peacful. Access by an unpaved road was no problem for our midsized car. Although we did not use the downstairs living area, it would be perfect for children. It is equipped with an Xbox game machine and a number of games. There is also a loft area over the downstairs bathroom that children would love. We had friends stay with us one night. They really enjoyed their stay. One word of warning there is no land line in the house and the Sprint network does not reach out that far so our cell phone was inoperable during our stay.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for, and also exactly as advertised! The cabin itself was clean and comfortable. From the deck you can hear and see the river. At night the stars are incredible. The fire pit was fun on a chilly night. I highly recommend a stay here... can't wait to return myself!!

We were visiting the Clemson area for a football game. River View Haven was about 30 minutes from Clemson and a very easy drive. The home was very well appointed and was very comfortable for our family to stay. We did not get to enjoy the river but maybe next time. Thanks for the hospitality.

The River View Haven is a beautiful all wood cabin. Everything seems brand new and clean. We loved the dock over the river and the swimming was great. The owners had fire wood in the fire pit all set up and ready to light. The kitchen was fully equipped and the big upper wood deck even had a gas grill ready to go. What a great place it was.

Fabulous weekend getaway! Cabin was a home away from home, with many extra amenities. Relaxing living area, beds were very comfortable, kids loved the game loft, adults enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and serene environment. The large deck was wonderful to take in the early morning beauty. Hope to return soon.

My husband, three boys and I stayed at this wonderful cabin for 4 days while vacationing in South Carolina. The cabin looked like a model home and everything was brand new. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed making fires in the evening. It was only 15 minutes from great whitewater rafting and there were lots of beautiful state parks to visit nearby.
