Why the Owner Chose Nantucket
Nantucket has beautiful beaches, historic downtown, great shopping and fantastic restaurants. And our house is centrally located near all of these - to make the most of Nantucket! This house is walking distance to downtown -- yet far enough away that you have total privacy on this 2 acre private estate. And only 1/2 mile to the beach! A large deck overlooks pastures with horses and has magnificent views of the famous "madaket sunset". Located on Madaket Road - the best bike path on the island. Walking distance to "Stanford Farms" nature preserve - with 600 acres of pristine moors and woods - and jogging/hiking paths throughout. Two of the best beaches are within 1/2 mile. Jetties Beach is one of the most popular with sailboat/kayak rentals. And Steps Beach is a quiet secluded beach if you want to escape the tourists.
