We stayed at the Squaw bay house this summer and were very impressed. The house was everything that we expected and more. This property has a large, well maintained dock that the kids had a blast jumping, diving and pushing each other off of. The kids had just as much fun on the dock as they did boating. View to die for from both decks, very well stocked. Peggy was great at answering all of our questions. The only draw back was the drive in but you get used to the road fairly quickly. Would highly recommend this rental and hope to go back again next summer.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About: DLR Properties has been highly involved in Coeur d'Alene area properties for the past seven years. Many of our local employees have lived in the area for most of their lives and love the atmosphere and experiences that come with North Idaho living.
Why Squaw Bay:
Lake Coeur d'Alene is a beautiful vacation spot. Our cabin at Squaw Bay is situated in a prime location on this beautiful North Idaho lake, not too far from town (a 25 minute drive or 10 minute boat ride), but far enough to capture the natural beauty of the area while still offering easy access to all the fun activities of Coeur d'Alene. North Idaho holds allure for both outdoor enthusiasts and city-dwellers alike, with tons of opportunity to please both.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Across the lake, lively downtown Coeur d'Alene can be seen, with prime viewing of holiday fireworks. Plentiful opportunities exist for both the outdoor enthusiast and the home-dweller, with miles of back-country roads for bike rides and hikes as well as a great interior atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and rejuvenating. The master suite has vaulted ceilings, a television and dvd player, and a three-sided gas fireplace separating it from the master bath, great for a romantic evening. A roomy great room on the main floor, equipped with a large television and DVD collection, is a great space for entertaining and relaxing alike (note TV does not have reception-for dvd viewing only). The adjoined dining room opens onto a spacious deck that looks out on the home's, dock, Lake Coeur d'Alene and the distant city, and is complete with dining table and gas-burning fire pit for evening bonfires. The private dock is perfect for sunbathing or tying up a rented boat, jet skis, or both! All in all, this is a property that can appeal to anyone, with plenty to see, do, and experience while taking in the natural beauty of this wonderful area.
