Caution: Not all "views" are created equal. This place has stunning VIEWs!! You will not be disappointed choosing this condo. This is a large unit with three bedrooms plus loft, and two bathrooms. It has breath taking views of the Sherwin Mountains and overlooks directly into Mammoth Creek Park. Situated on the southeast edge of town enjoy unobstructed views from the private external balcony off the living room. Check our excellent Guest Comment feedback, below the photos. The first week of Sept, 2009, we updated the condo, again! This time with new dressers, nightstands, headboards, mirrored closet doors, lamps, TV stands, and fluffy down comforters for each of the bedrooms. The front-door is now equipped with a keyless entry pad, so getting your large group in-and-out is a breeze.

Wireless Internet and an awesome Pioneer receiver, Pioneer DVD, and new speakers were added last quarter!! All hooked-up to a wall-mounted, 42" BIG SCREEN LCD television in the living room. Don't worry, High Definition TV programming is provided free, along with a recording DVR. Kick-back and relax after skiing/fishing, by watching the big screen, or catch-up on work with the free Wireless Internet capability. Also, in the loft a new combination 26" LCD/DVD player has been added recently. Bring your USB IPOD cable to hook up your IPOD to the Pioneer receiver.

A new Kathy Ireland plush carpet was installed last year. There's an L-shaped sleeper couch + lifting coffee table that have been added to the living room as well. A TV has been added upstairs in the park-view bedroom. And to top it off, all 3 bedrooms now have luxurious Simmons Beautyrest beds. Two of the bedrooms now have California King-size beds. The 3rd bedroom has a Queen-size bed, and the loft has 3 single beds. This unit sleeps up to 10/11 people comfortably (10 with 1 adult or 11 with 2 children; on the full-sized sleeper couch).

The kitchen was completely remodeled a couple of years back with golden Maple cabinets and new flooring. Complete with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances including a black glass cooktop range & double-oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and a microwave. There are 19 stairs to reach this second-story unit and it has two levels inside. The lower level has the living room, kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, the loft, and the second bathroom. There is an external closet for your skiing or fishing gear.

The condo is located in the La Vista Blanc complex in the southeast corner of Mammoth Lakes town. You are a short walk away through the park to several major shopping centers, cinemas, and restaurants (like the landmark restaurant named "The Stove").

In winter, there is the world famous Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort as well as many other winter sport activities, like cross country skiing, snowmobiling, etc. For recreation in the summer, walk across the adjacent Mammoth Creek park to the Horseback Riding Ranch or to the golf driving range. Fish for trout in the regularly stocked Mammoth Creek only steps away from this unit. Or jump on the very scenic bicycle trail which begins right at the park below. You can also take a short car trip to the Devil's Postpile National Monument.

  • The condo was great. Very clean, quiet, and has a terrific view of the sunrise off the balcony. Steve was very nice and helpful in getting us all set up for the weekend. The condo was very roomy and easily allowed for three couples to stay there and not even feel the least bit crowded. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the condo itself has a great TV, stereo, etc. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

  • We had a fabulous time over New Years at this #68 La Vista Blanc! The condo was roomie and well kept! the kitchen was the largest we've come in contact with since we began the Mammoth NYE tradition. Also, there is an adorable park right behind the complex, perfect for playing with kids or for taking a stroll. Lastly, it was a quick walk to Stop 19 and so we all made it easily to and from the mountain! Thank you so much for a great vacation and a venue for wonderful memories!

  • Very nice,clean and cozy, had everything you need in kitchen.Kids enjoyed own beds and game station. Close to all the great locations. We were invited by a relative who served as our guide since it was out first time in the mountains views are gorgeous. Top master bedroom needs locks for privacy from bedroom to bathroom. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends and definitely come back.

  • Fantastic condo to stay in! We used it in July 07 for our annual family trip to Mammoth. It's a perfect location...walking distance to the park and The Stove restaurant! There was plenty of room for everyone. Loved the loft area for the kids too. We had four adults and three kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. Loved the new tv and couch...very comfy. Steve is awesome to work with and we plan on using his condo again this year in 2008. Thanks Steve and family!!!!

  • Fresh powder, beautiful weather, cozy condo... who could ask for more? Our little ones (one whom is autistic) loved sledding on the snow hill created in the parking lot next to the park! They were also thrilled with the video games in the loft (as was the 18 year old!). We had plenty of room and a great view of the park. Very close to everything... I even walked from the village to the condo! Thanks, Steve, for mailing my daughter's Christmas blanket... you really went beyond the call to find it! We all had a wonderful experience and memories to last a lifetime.

  • Hi Steve, Thank you for allowing us to stay at your condo. It was perfect for our families (4 adults and 5 kids). Everything we needed was there. Even an extra hair dryer when mine gave out! It was so nice to have a place to play in the snow right out back. Thursday it snowed all day with lots of wind. Our time outside was limited, but we enjoyed staying in with the beautiful view, and the Nintendo and big TV to keep the kids (and adults) happy. We would definitely like to return in the future.   • Steve~ Everything went like clockwork, we had no problems getting the key or checking out. As you said the condo is conveniently located next to Mammoth Creek where several of us fished, and also walked the bike path. Also very nicely located for excellent views and quick trips to "Von's" The condo itself was roomy enough for 10 of us, and at an excellent price. We had absolutely no problems with the accomodations. Thank-you for allowing us to spend time there. We will keep it in mind for next time. KDB

  • We really enjoyed our Memorial Day holiday at the Ball's condo. The location for us is ideal- close to town so our teenagers could walk to Starbuck's, right next to a park with a playground for our granddaughter, and just a quick drive to Von's to pick up groceries. Since we cooked most of our meals, we appreciated the new appliances and great cookware. Wish I had that dishwasher! There were plenty of beds for our large family. It is a rarity to find two king beds in one condo. All in all, we had a great time in Mammoth. All of the details of reserving the condo and getting the keys worked very smoothly.
