We just enjoyed a wonderful stay of four days and three nights at Robert's condo in the Plateau. The private parking was definitely a plus. We parked our car and left it there for 4 days. We are avid walkers and found this location to be ideal for sightseeing. The Metro was a short two blocks away for traveling to farther out neighborhoods. The condo is in a quiet, convenient setting. We heard no noises from any of the neighboring rooms. We found the condo to be clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking needs. We've used VRBO for vacation rentals for years and Robert has by far been the easiest owner to deal with. We would certainly recommend this property to our friends and others.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 days in March 2012. The condo is located in the Plateau, which we found fun to explore. The bustling Saint-Laurent is just a few blocks away, and the metro was just a few minute's walk away. The areas around the Laurier/Mont Royal and Sherbrooke metro stops proved to be much more interesting to us than the downtown core. How can you go wrong with a famous microbrewery and bagel shop within a 15 minute walk? As for the condo, it was very clean and tidy. It is fashionably renovated, and everything we needed was there. I was initially worried about street noise, but the windows muffled almost everything. We also didn't hear much noise from other apartments or from the hallway, which is rare in apartment buildings. There are some small touches in the condo that make the 5-star ranking deserved, like the magazines and travel information on the coffee table. It is unnecessary, but welcomed nonetheless. I would definitely stay here again, and will recommend this condo to friends visiting Montreal, as it was a great deal!

This property was no disappointment. Clean, attractive, well decorated, and well situated, the appartment was just what we needed. We found the owner to be helpful in every way so as to assure us of a good stay. There was great attention to detail in that all functionned and was comfortable. We found two diners close to the apartement for tasty and inexpensive breakfasts. The shower had a generous supply of water with good pressure. The neighborhood is residential so you won't find a lot of boutiques and restaurants in the immediate surroundings, but with some walking, you will find a grocery store about 6 minutes away and the metro station about 8 minutes away. I would stay here again with pleasure.

I agree with other reviewers: Robert has thought of everything you need and has a well-maintained and well-located condo. We were amazed at how at home we felt and the ease in which everything flowed from our initial inquiry through departure. Bravo, Robert! On top of having a comfortable space, the condo location is great for exploring on foot (or Bixi bike) the neighborhoods of Mile End, La Plateau, Vieux Montéal, and the McGill/downtown area. The Métro is a short walk away and can transport you to Little Italy or to the Bell Centre in minutes. The combination of having a comfortable condo and an easy-access location was great. Robert was extremely prompt in replies and provided a list of locations as well as guides/map at the condo to get us started exploring the city. I don't believe we could have made a better choice for our 'home' in Montréal.

We just spent a month in Montreal - our favorite North American city, and felt very fortunate to have found this apartment as our home base. The location on St. Denis was ideal - very close to the metro and all the restaurants and shops in the Plateau. The apartment was immaculate and provided everything we needed. Any street noise (St. Denis is a very busy street!) was muffled by the air conditioner and sound proof windows. We would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for an ideal location and a lovely, comfortable apartment. We are looking forward to a return visit soon!

Our family (my wife, son and I) recently stayed at this apartment during our trip to Montreal. Since this was our first time using VRBO, we were a bit nervous as what to expect. However, the dealings we had with Robert before the stay were more than enough to make up for that. First off, the apartment is spectacular. Great, modern kitchen that was perfect for cooking in and keeping food in the house. Everything was provided - pots, pans, plates, glasses - heck, even oven mitts and every kitchen tool imaginable. The place is terrifically remodeled, with nice colors, good decor, modern touches and more. There is a nice HD flatscreen in the living room. The bedroom has more than enough space, has a comfortable bed, and has a good sized closet. The bathroom is nicely sized, with a good pressure shower and everything else needed - iron, hair dryer, washer/dryer, etc. Secondly, the place is immaculate. Not a crumb, not a piece of dust, nothing. The sheets and towels smell nice :-) and it is quite obvious that a terrific amount of care has gone into the condo. Additionally, there is parking in the back - a nice convenience in a city that has a premium on parking. Finally, I cannot say more about Robert, the owner. He and I must have had 20 emails back and forth, where he answered every question I could possibly have. It was a real treat. If you have any reservations about it, dont. Book it, and enjoy - we look forward to doing the same very soon! Thanks again!

Perfect Montreal Condo!

This was my first time renting a VRBO myself and I was sure impressed with this condo. The location was good and close to the subway station, the condo was clean and modern, and the condo included everything that vacationers would need such as tupperware containers to store food in. The parking spot also was easy to find and felt safe. The wi-fi was fast and the grocery store was only a short walk away. The owner is also very nice. I would highly recommend this condo to vacationers in Montreal!

We (2 couples) spent a long weekend at this condo when we came to Montreal for the U2 concert. This was the second time we used the VRBO site, the first being for a Christmas vacation in Key Largo last December. So far, we are batting a thousand! Clean, extremely well appointed, tastefully decorated.... It looked exactly like the pictures. Lots of room for 4 adults to be comfy. And when 2 of us arrived without toothbrushes, it was a pleasant surprise to find some extra in the bathroom. Robert was extremely helpful, the location was great, and I guess I just can't say enough. Event though it's not right downtown, it's on a great street with lots of its own great shopping and restaurants. PLUS, it's on the perfect subway line and bus route for straight line acess to the downtown area. When we go back to Montreal, we definitely try to get this place again. Thank you so much, Robert!

We stayed here the first week of June prior to the F1 race and found the condo to be very comfortable. It has all the amenities you need. We stayed in a few nights and cooked and also walked to some nearby restaurants. The Laurier Metro station is a short walk away if you want to explore further. We had no trouble getting anywhere we needed to go. Was about a 45 minute journey to our seats at the Senna curve at Circuit Giles Villeneuve (including the 1.2 km walk from the Metro on the island). This area is not touristy at all. We felt like we blended into the neighborhood. Walked to the grocery on St-Hubert multiple times. Robert was very easy to deal with and we would definitely consider staying in this area again. The parking behind the building is definitely a plus!

Nous avons séjourné 11 mois dans cet appartement, de janvier à décembre 2011. LE QUARTIER : emplacement idéal entre les stations Laurier et Rosemont (moins de 5 minutes à pied), tout près d'un arrêt de bus direct pour le centre (ligne 30) et entouré de stations de bixi (vélos en libre service). Le supermarché est à quelques minutes à pied, de même que l'Uniprix. L'APPARTEMENT: Mobilier neuf et contemporain, couleurs design à la fois chaleureuses et relaxantes. Tout le nécessaire y est : literie, linge de salle de bains et de cuisine, ustensiles de cuisine, vaisselle complète, télé, lecteur DVD, aspirateur, laveuse/sécheuse, etc. Très bon fonctionnement des appareils électroménagers. Cuisine lumineuse avec fenêtre. Lit très confortable. Salle de bain propre. Double vitrage efficace : l'appartement se situe à l'arrière de l'immeuble ce qui diminue le bruit de la rue Saint-Denis. Situation par rapport au soleil idéale : les pièces sont ensoleillées de 10h le matin à 18h le soir au printemps/été. Climatisation fonctionnelle. LES PROPRIETAIRES : Jacques, Robert et Nicole sont présents dès qu'il est nécessaire de réparer ou de remplacer du mobilier. Ils se sont toujours montrés très soucieux de notre bien-être dans l'appartement. BILAN : à recommander très fortement ! Couple de Français, 24 ans

Great property. Very convenient. It was especially nice to have private parking. The property was just as described, very clean and convenient to the metro and many small restaurants.and shops . The owners were very helpful and considerate answering our questions very patiently. One of them even came out during a terrible rainstorm during rush hour to help us figure out how to work the remote on the TV! The area around the apartment is very safe and not touristy. I would recommend the location to others.

The condo is in a perfect location, a 5-minute walk away from the best of French Montreal: a beautiful park with pool and playground; several interesting and different neighbourhoods with excellent food and shops (Laurier, Mile-End, Outremont, St. Denis). We stayed with a 3-year-old and found it very good for us: Spacious, comfortable, very clean, and with very good kitchen amenities. Really enjoyed our stay.

The place was perfect, we highly recomend it. It is fully updated with every amneity, large lcd tv, offstreet parking(which is very important there) and even a complementary bottle of wine. The location was great, 2 blocks from the metro, and 3 blocks from the very nice section of StDenis with numerous shops and restaurants. And VERY clean, which was important to us because we had to leave our first rental because it wasnt. But Robert was great and with his help we had an absolutely fantastic trip.

We stayed in condo July '09 during Jazz Festival and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Condo is updated, well decorated, very comfortable and located near subway as well as restaurants & shops on St Denis, Mont Royal and Saint Laurent. Would definitely stay again.
