What a great time My Family & I had! This house was perfect! Great Location, House was roomy & comfortable. The back yard was great for relaxing and just enjoying the view. Easy to deal with the owner. Even my Dogs loved it! We will rent this home again next year for sure!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Where should I start??? The pictures are when the house was newer, very run down now, with many things not working or broken. We rented this house in July 2012, and had small children, as well as adult family members that also went with us. The TV in the master had no remote, or cord and was not able to even be turned on, the outlets in the master did not work, tiles in the kitchen where broken, as well as the ceiling fan in the outdoor area was broken too, just to name a few. In addition, this has since been updated but not before we rented the house, the 3rd bedroom was listed as a queen size bed, which when we got there it was a twin bunk bed. Also there were not roll away beds like the listing said, so lucky for us we had brought extra blow-up mattresses. Yes, the living room is open and spacious, but just about the only thing that was listed correctly. There is no second master as listed as well. Bedrooms are very small. A bed barely fits in one. Also, attached to the dock was an old buoy that was falling apart, which rubbed off our CF# on our brand new boat!!!!! REALLY NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!! Also, the property is listed as only being rented to one family at a time, not the case, the property has a smaller guest house and a year round renter lives there. She was out on the dock area, in the BBQ area, and around the house the entire time, which did not make us feel as though we were the only family there, and didn't like the idea of our children napping in the house with strangers walking around having access to the entire property. Yes, it may have been only rented out to us, but never did the contract mention that a tenant also lived there and would be on the property the entire time as well, with her own guests. Also the BBQ was a gas BBQ which could not be used because some smart person had put charcoal in a GAS ONLY bbq. There is also junk all over the back patio area, that is not in the pictures and not safe for small children to be running around. The property is listed as "Kid Friendly", yet had cactus all over the patio and upper dock outdoor areas. In addition the kicker was that we rented the house July 12, had to call numerous times, and email, even threaten to sue before receiving our security deposit back. The contact said the deposit would be returned within 14 days of departure, we did not get the money back until the 16th of Aug. and the owner would not return any of our calls, nor e-mails.
