The house was warm and welcoming. More beautiful and spacious than we expected. The location was great for exploring the Point Reyes area, and quick visits to town. The property was very clean and well maintained. We felt at home during our short stay. Helen was fantastic, and incredibly helpful! Looking forward to many more visits.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

There's something special about staying in a place that doesn't feel like a rental. Every detail of this lovely home resonates with a loving human touch. The art, the furnishings, the warmth of the wood, the lighting--everything seems chosen with care and attention to detail. We felt an ease and a comfort as soon as we walked in the door. It's really convenient to town, and to the spectacular coast, but honestly, you might just spend the whole day soaking in the hot tub until dusk, when the deer emerge from the shadows to graze in the yard. We felt like honored guests. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this lovely home for a girlfriend's weekend. It is so comfy and well-appointed. It is on one of the residential roads about a mile from town...we walked into town every day (on our first day we say deer in a meadow along the way). the kitchen is fully stocked and there is a Jacuzzi for relaxing after a day of hiking or sight-seeing (the star-gazing from there is amazing!). We would highly recommend this rental home!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed two nights in this home while we were exploring Pt. Reyes National Seashore. The house is nestled in a peaceful and beautiful area right outside of Pt. Reyes Station. The town is a walk or bike ride from the house. It is full of delightful shops, as well as a grocery store and a few restaurants. Pt. Reyes National Seashore is a very short ride in the car from the house. It was so close, that when we were done wandering through the Seashore, we didn't have to give any thought to giving ourselves "enough time" to drive back at the end of the day. We had ample time to fix supper and enjoy the hot tub in the evening. We had three generations with us and the house was appreciated by all, from the comfy beds to the spacious bathrooms, (liked by the teenage girls :)), to the easy to use kitchen and washer and dryer. There were also books in the living room on the area that helped us to do more homework on where we wanted to go the next day. You will not be disappointed if you rent this home!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our week-long vacation. We live in SF, and love to get away to Pt Reyes regularly. We looked at many places in the area before picking this home to stay for a special occasion. We had friends and family visit throughout the time we were there, and couldn't have asked for more. This is a beautiful, well-maintained house, with a very nice homey feeling, and is super clean. The weather that week was spectacular, and the doe and her two babies visiting everyday plus the owls in the tree were just frosting on the cake for us. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a serene, relaxed setting to explore from. We'll definitely return.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friends and I rented this house for a weekend and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE! This is a spacious, well decorated and very comfortable home which is well taken care of. There is beautiful artwork throughout the house that I have since found out was done by the owner herself. This home has a large deck completed with a gas grill and a hammock, a large hot tub that you can use in addition to a HUGE backyard. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside on the deck (in February) but we did use the hot tub both nights. Pt. Reyes National Seashore is just down the road and returning "home" to our house was so nice after a long day of sightseeing. The neighborhood is very peaceful and private and yet so close to all the attractions of the area. If you haven't been to Pt. Reyes - this area is a hidden gem. Absolutely fantastic restaurants as well. I definitely plan to return here again and look forward to coming back to stay at this home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house has quickly become my favorite place to relax with friends! We enjoy cooking meals in the spacious kitchen with local produce from the nearby Farmers' Market. The deck is perfect for al fresco dining or a nap in the hammock. The personal touches throughout the house, including wonderful artwork by the owner, make this rental unique. Point Reyes has a great bookstore and the famous Cow Girl Creamery. Also, try the Hog Island oyster pizza at Stellina's and something sweet from the Bovine Bakery. On our most recent trip, friends and I ran the Stinson Beach marathon on the Dipsea trail, around Mt Tam and down the Coast trail. The location is unbeatable, but so is this house. What a great place to come home to after a day of exploring!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was the perfect getaway for a three-generation-vacation. The grandparents enjoyed the master suite, we were quite comfortable in the second bedroom, and our daughter loved the bunk bed in her own room. The house is much larger than I imagined from the photos, and very comfortable. I only wish my kitchen at home were so well equipped! We used the back deck as another room, and enjoyed watching deer families, wild turkies, and a lone blue heron passing through the back yard.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house was so attractive and comfortable that we had to tear ourselves away to go and do things. But when we did we found beautiful hiking (the Tule Elk Preserve was our favorite), oyster eating in Marshall, a tour of the Carneros wine country, and shopping for Cowgirl Creamery cheese and Bovine Bakery bread and morning buns in Point Reyes Station, accessible by a short drive or a pretty, roundabout walk past so many blackberry bushes that we picked enough for a pie. The house has three comfortable bedrooms, a big country kitchen, a beautiful deck overlooking apple and pear trees, and a delightful hot tub. Our two grown children and their significant others were with us, and we all found our favorite lounging and reading places in the living room and other common areas. The house was clean and well supplied, and the owner was very helpful and informative, patiently answering all our questions before we arrived. We've been to Point Reyes three or four times in the past and have not come close to exploring fully this distinctive and spectacular region; and this is the house we'd want to stay in on future visits. We recommend it enthusiastically.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
