Leave your car at our cottage and walk, bike or ride our golf cart everywhere you need to go on the island. The freedom from vehicles and traffic will automatically reduce your blood pressure a few points the minute you take that first golf cart ride!
The charm and beauty of Beaufort is only 20-25 minutes away. Beaufort is packed with history, great restaurants, and a wide variety of shops. Beaufort was named Southern Living Magazine's 'Best Small Southern Town' of 2008. Field & Stream magazine has named Beaufort one of the top 25 fishing towns in America. American Style magazine just ranked Beaufort #12 on its 2009 list of the Top 25 Art Destinations-Small Cities category. In 2008, the editors of Money magazine named Beaufort one of its top 6 'Terrific Towns on the Water,' for soon-to-be-retired baby boomers.
Extensive renovations have just been completed on our Fripp Island home. We have brand new hardwood floors, new carpet, new granite kitchen countertops, and fresh paint throughout. The house is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath cottage on the 1st fairway of Davis Love III's first signature course, Ocean Creek. We have furnished and supplied the home to ensure that our guests will feel not just comfortable, but pampered. All of the beds have 100% cotton, 300 thread-count sheets. You will find plenty of thirsty, soft towels in each bathroom. We have stocked the kitchen with every cooking utensil and appliance we imagine you might need, plus a selection of spices to get you started.
If there is something you need while staying in the cottage that you do not find, let us know and we will try to supply if for your future visits. We want to make sure you enjoy and love our Fripp Island home just as much as we do!

Amy, we truly enjoyed our stay at your lovely home at Fripp. The house was very clean and spacious and everything was there that we needed. We enjoyed the morning sunrises and the evening sunsets. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the wonderful outdoors. Amy - We had a great stay last summer and are looking forward to returning Summer 2012. Your cottage is so well-maintained and meticulous; it was well-equipped and had all the amenities we needed and more. The location is ideal - it's centrally located to the beach and pools. The screened in porch overlooking the golf course was a great place to relax. Truly a great place to vacation with young kids and grandparents - to be together and yet have our own space. Thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality!Recommended for: Families with young children.

Your little slice of paradise is truly something to be treasured. Everything is so well-decorated, and the home is so well-stocked, we did not need a single thing. Your golf cart was so much fun to use, your black rockers on the porch the best place for morning coffee, and your large and sturdy kitchen table a wonderful place for family meals.Did you find this review helpful? Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. The well-stocked kitchen made it easier to cook our Thanksgiving dinner and the boys enjoyed using the fishing poles. About the owner: Bryan and I had the privilege of living in coastal South Carolina early in our marriage when he was an officer in the Navy. The Navy and later corporate America have taken us to other areas of the country over the years, but we never stopped yearning for the South Carolina coast. We are thrilled to now have a second home in the beautiful low country!
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Creek, Fripp Cottages:
We have vacationed at beaches up and down the coasts of North and South Carolina as well as California and Maine. After all of that traveling, we knew that Fripp Island was our ideal beach the minute we first toured the island. It has unspoiled natural beauty and a gorgeous and wide beach. It is never crowded and the pace of life is slow and easy. The seafood is awesome and it's close to Beaufort, South Carolina which is a charming historic town.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I love the relaxed atmosphere at Fripp Island. You can get everywhere on the island by bike or golf cart. The beach is never crowded. There is a herd of adorable, friendly deer on the island. The island is very family and kid friendly, with numerous playgrounds and two large swimming pools. At the marina, you can rent a boat, scooter or golf cart or just sit and watch the dolphins swim by in Old House Creek.
