This private apartment is the top floor of a 1929 View Home. It is one flight up from the street, enhancing the 180 degree view of the Puget Sound, the Olympic mountains, and the shipping, ferry and pleasure boats moving about the Sound.
The apartment has comfortable foam mattress Queen bed with a view of the sound, and a fold out LazY Boy sofa, also with a view. There is a small kitchen with an eat in area. Or, you can eat on the view balcony.
We are located 30 minutes from SeaTac Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Seattle, including Safeco Field and Pike Place Market. Busses to either are a few steps from your door.
West Seattle is the former weekend vacation spot for Seattle. The new bridge makes it more accessible, but it is still not totally discovered. It is an oasis in Seattle's urban core. Also within a short walk are Lincoln Park (Seattle's largest), the old shopping area known as the Junction (filled with character), the newer Westwood Village shopping center, some excellent restaurants, and the Fauntleroy-Vashon Ferry Dock, where you can walk on for a two hour Puget Sound cruise.

- We are located a few hundred yards from two park entrances to the beach, on which one can walk for hours. Lincoln park, Seattle's largest park, has walking trails, playgrounds, and a 50 m. outdoor, saltwater pool during the summer. There is a bus stop across the street and next door that will take you downtown, the the ball game, or the airport.
