This 15th floor unit is located in the heart of North Myrtle Beach. It is a premier resort with all the amenities, from the surf to the links. Myrtle Beach experiences one of the best Indian Summers on the east coast, so the fun isn't over when fall makes its debut. You can enjoy the beach into the fall, as well as the indoor and outdoor pools, the lazy river, and the well-sized water park that is a free shuttle ride away. If you are more interested in fall activities the Sands Ocean Club is never short on cooler weather experiences. The site is less than five miles from some of the top golf courses in the area. One, Arcadia, is just up the street. And as always, the Ocean Annie's activities will be in full swing -- an amazing band plays on on the deck over looking the beach for all to enjoy whether you are sitting down for a meal or a few cocktails. An added bonus to the location is the locally renowned River City Cafe (great burgers), the restaurant, and bar (with one of the best happy hour deals in town)-- all on site. Upon venturing out there are great restaurants up and down the street, including delicious Calabash restaurants offering fresh seafood year round. On your way home you can stop by the newly renovated Straw Market -- it provides small vendor shopping, ice cream parlors, and a quaint bar to enjoy a couple drinks and appetizers.
Our Sands Ocean Club unit overlooks the beach and ocean to the north, as well as the properties behind the resort, onto the golf course. Every day spent brings new experiences, from the sunsets on the beach, to Barefoot Landing down the road, to Broadway at the Beach for shopping, eating, and live entertainment. A day or night in downtown Myrtle is a must with a festival like atmosphere, carnival rides complete with a rollercoaster, Ripley's Believe It or Not!, great food and street entertainment. Those that prefer to take it easy at night can visit these venues during the day or enjoy one of the many miniature golf establishments (a Myrtle Beach staple to enjoy day and night.
The parking garage and in-unit amenities along with the friendly resort staff will make your stay a breeze. Also, less than a mile up the road you will find a K-Mart, Wal-Mart, and great Outlet shops for all of your vacation needs and shopping enjoyment. The lay of the land is visitor friendly and the weather is always beautiful... not only will you enjoy the quality time with the people you love, in a beautiful setting, but you are sure to make a few new friends along the way. Owned and maintained by the Carletti family in Northeastern Ohio. We own, maintain, and rent several properties (homes and condos) throughout the east coast, mid west, and south. Our family has been vacationing at this particular location for over ten years, enjoying it with our children from their middle school years until the present, their 20's.
Why the Owner Chose Sands Ocean Club
Myrtle Beach is one of the premier summer vacation spots for east coasters. This location is very accessible for Ohians and we found it enjoyable to make the drive to South Carolina for a week at the beach.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
We stayed as guests in our current unit for several years, the kids and us enjoyed it with the resort amenities to the surrounding Myrtle Beach attractions (Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach, and downtown Myrtle), so when given the opportunity we bought the place! By far the Sands Ocean Club itself is the best part about the experience in Myrtle-- beautiful beach, two pools, a hot tub, lazy river, and Ocean Annie's (the most fun bar on the Strand). Along with River City Cafe and the other two eating establishment within, you do not need to leave the premises.
