The view off the deck is breathtaking. Spent a whole morning sipping tea and enjoying the mountains! It's a short walk to the beach which my children really enjoyed. We toured the Boeing factory, Anacortes, Deception Pass and La Connor....all easily doable from the house. Thanks for sharing!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you, Heidi! It's great to see that you took full advantage of your time on lovely Camano Island and were able to visit lots of interesting and scenic spots. We hope your travels will bring you back to Marisol Beach House next time you visit the Pacific Northwest. Best wishes, Ana

Thank you so much for opening your home. It was truly a more inviting and relaxing atmosphere than a hotel. We got to be tourists in the big "City" for the day and come "home" for our ritual habits. My husband and I hope to return one day without the children. It is truly a wonderful get-a-way. Thanks again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Thanks so much for your care of the Marisol Beach House! We had a wonderful three days of reading, game-playing, puzzle-building and beach strolling. This was just what we were looking for to re-connect as a family! Merry Christmas!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We needed a little family getaway after Christmas. This was the perfect house for us. We've rented before, but this was the best, by far. From the moment we walked in, the views blew us away. The house itself is so warm and cozy for a big house. We cooked a lot together and celebrated the New Year. We would love to come back in the summer. Also, we couldn't believe how much kitchen equipment there was, even a cute Mickey Mouse waffle iron. Thanks for everything.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: We are Seattleites who love traveling whenever possible (Maui 3/2009).
Why the Owner Chose Camano Island:
Camano Island became our home away from home when we started spending weekends here at Cama Beach State Park. It's so close to Seattle, but a world away. We keep pinching ourselves feeling so lucky to enjoy the expansive view of Port Susan Bay and the majestic Cascade Mountains at any hour of the day.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Sitting on the deck, sipping a cup of coffee, listening to the calls of bald eagles & flickers & kingfishers & the buzz of a hummingbird zipping by... Watching the mist on the water lifting and the driftwood being gently arranged and rearranged on the beach below. Walking on the beach, jogging through the forest, taking a morning bike ride around the south end of the island. Oh, what a pleasure it is to be part of the Camano Island community!
