Ocean Walk is an immaculately kept condo community within walking distance to the Pier and Village of Saint Simons Island. SSI has a slow charm unique to the Golden Isles. The condo is tucked into a quiet corner of Ocean Walk, steps from the recently updated pool and BBQ, playground, tennis courts, duck pond, and clubhouse. Sit on the balcony and enjoy a cool drink or bike (or walk) into town for shopping, restaurants, or to watch who is catching what on the pier.
Bicycle rental is nearby, and many folks just rent bikes and use the many bike trails around the island. Ocean Walk features two pools, take your pick, or drive about a mile to the beach.
Saint Simons Island is rich in history and culture. Take a trolley tour of the island, go to an antiques fair (check dates, there are usually two or so in summer), an art show, the cinema, fish to your heart's content, walk on the beach and collect shells, it's a great place to spend the winter or summer vacation with the kids. Or write a book!
The condo itself has been refurbished, so everything is updated!
There is a one time $65 cleaning fee for the visit. If you are visiting for a long period of time, weekly maid service can also be arranged for a fee.

Why the Owner Chose Ocean Walk
Our family has been visiting SSI for many generations. It is also close to Jekyll Island, which is a state park, and Cumberland Island, also a state park. It is just somewhere where we feel completely relaxed. Ocean Walk is an extremely well maintained community, and it is close to the village and park. It's just a great location, and if you love a good value, this is the place to be!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We like spending time as a family walking to town and getting ice cream. There are also fun things to do, like taking the kids out with Captain Billy to go fishing, or reserving a shrimp boat to go out and catch our own dinner (they make it for you). As someone who likes to exercise, it's nice to have the fitness facility if it rains outside. The pool is steps away from our condo, so that is convenient. The kids also like the duck pond and playground. We saw 63 turtles one day - and it's great fun to feed the ducks, turtles and fish at the pond.

My Grandaddy started taking our family to the beach three generations ago. My mother and father have years of fond memories of Saint Simons, and all of the cousins in our family have made it their number one vacation destination, a place that feels more like home than home, that echoes of memories for us, many happy memories. Our wedding was at Lovely Lane Chapel and our reception was at the King and Prince. We all try to connect at SSI from all corners of the world every few years. Buying a condominium and refurbishing it for us to use and for my mother and father to visit from time to time was a dream of ours, and so our condo is a very special place for us. We intend to keep it for years to come. Even though we have seen much of the world SSI strikes the deepest chord with us.

I love this little place! It is perfect for a family of four. With a short walk to the village and a shorter walk to the pool, you cannot find a better condo! I love the furnishings, it feels just like a beach home should. The beds and sofas are comfortable and my night's sleep is just dreamy. The pool is so close and with small kids, that's where they like to be all day. Unless of course they want to go to the park which is right across the street from the community. At night, my husband and I were able to walk to the Village for dinner and stop at the Village Pub on the way home. I've never felt more comfortable!
