Location: Glen Arbor, MI, Glen Lake frontage, 25 miles west of northwestern Michigan's Traverse City, 4 hours from Detroit and 6 hours from Chicago. Within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Crystal Glen Cottage is between Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear's National headquarters in Empire, with sunsets over the dunes to your west. Accommodations: A direct beachfront cottage with three bedrooms, one with king size bed and two with queen size beds, sleeps six. A divided bath is also accessible from outside. The lake is shallow and ideal for families with small children. A mooring buoy for larger boat is provided. A row boat and two life jackets are available for adult use. A large lakefront deck sits 40 feet back from a private 100 foot wide sandy beach with four person wooden swing. Deck includes a gas grill and dining for six and can be closed off for child containment.
You will find this one acre 400 feet deep, private direct beachfront property to be clean, uncluttered and well maintained. Rentals are weekly from Saturday arrival after 3 pm to the following Saturday checkout before 11 am. Payment policy: $1000 to hold booking with balance due 60 days prior to check in date. A $300 damage deposit is required and returned within a week if no damage. Early June and fall discounts are offered. VISA is accepted only with full payment. Due to a short prime season, payments are non refundable unless period is re-rented. A same year alternative week will be considered with cancellation if at all possible. Crystal Glen Cottage is a pet free and smoke free property. Sheets and towels are not included, but are available for an additional fee.
