Our home is surrounded by lovely natural gardens and decks, with oak trees, a fish pond with waterfall, garden paths, and lawns. You are walking distance from the Mission, Botanic Gardens, and Natural History Museum and a few minutes away from downtown Santa Barbara and the beach.
Our home features a large kitchen with Viking range, state of the art appliances, and is well-designed for dining, visiting and just relaxing. French doors from the dining room open to a deck nestled in the oak trees and steps lead down to the garage that serves as a game room with pool table, washer/dryer, and a wall of beach and sports gear for you to use.
The large living room/media room, adorned with Fiesta posters, offers a cozy fireplace, sectional couch, game table, large screen TV with a myriad of DVD's, children's books, and wall-to-wall windows overlooking the beautiful backyard gardens.
Relax outside in the lovely yard that has room for children to run and explore, play croquet, or toss a ball, while the parents relax and visit, barbeque, or just sit in the hot tub. Through the back gate, and down a wilderness trail, you enter Rocky Nook Park. A short walk through the park and you arrive at the Santa Barbara Mission and Natural History Museum. You will wake up in the morning to the sound of the Mission bells.
The four bedrooms (all queen beds) are cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated with Egyptian cotton sheets and soft comforters. The living room offers the option of 4 additional sleeping spaces (best suited for children), with the large sectional couches and two air beds available.
Further amenities include digital cable, wireless high speed internet, wood floors, Spanish tile, new carpets, and fresh paint. There are spacious rooms with high ceilings and outdoor light, barbeque, hot tub, washer and dryer, beach toys and towels, sports equipment, and more.
