I am currently staying here over the holidays (and more). The architecture and interior design is perfect. There are so many built-in features, such as the drawers in the washroom, the desk, drawers and closet in the bedroom, that are thoughtful, practical and unobtrusive. The decor is lovely. Everything is clean and new. The neighbourhood is so peaceful. The outdoor space -- both in front and back -- is gorgeous and lush. I love having birds of paradise flowers right outside of my front door. The location is great, as well. Close to everything you would need as well as the 101 highway. The place delivers on all the promises of the listing description. Finally, the property manager is friendly, approachable and solves all my queries.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

Great place if you want to escape the business at the beach. You are right near the Hollywood Sign, and it will give you a nice, old school Hollywood-feeling. The cottage is a little dark, but very clean and there's plenty of space, and even a nice outside patio. If you are looking for a quiet spot to work or relax, away from the big chains, hotels but very much in Hollywood, this is your place.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

This cottage was as beautiful as the photo's suggested. It was equiped with everything that we could have needed. It is located down a quite side street with great views of the Hollywood sign from the end of the road. We were able to walk from there to hollywood boulevard, although we used the car to get to Disneyland and the Studio's. The owner was friendly and really helpful and did everything he could to help sort out our stay. I would definitely reccomend the cottage for a relaxing place to stay in Hollywood.
