Excellent property. Very well taken care of. Felt like home. The owners were very friendly. They had everything we needed. From wood, to coal, to extra fans, bedding, etc. It was one of the best vacations we ever . We were a group of 10 people. Highly recommend this place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We are a family for 4 with 2 toddlers. The house is very well kept and clean which was very important to us since the kids loved to run around the large living room. The best part was waking up to the view of the Juan de Fuca Strait and Vancouver Island behind it. The kitchen had everything we needed since we cooked most of our breakfasts and dinners at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had no problem falling asleep. The location was also perfect for us because it was a short drive to Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, Sol Duc falls, and Cape Flattery. The surrounding area was designed by Anthony who is an arborist by profession. He certainly created an enchanting treescape and landscape. This truly was a memorable vacation for us that will always be remembered. Thank you Anthony and Vicki!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

OUR EXPERIENCE WAS NOTHING OTHER THAN A+!!! We arrived june 10th and stayed til the 14th. and were greeted by the owners Anthony and Vicki with warm open arms. They made us feel welcome and comfortable as though we were family. We knew from the start that we were in for a wonderful vacation. The rental was EXACTLY as shown in the pictures they posted for advertising. Plenty of space and beautiful decor with all the accomadations listed and felt like if we didnt want to venture off we had everthing at our finger tips to enjoy every minute of our vacation. The view was beautiful not only as for the water but the grounds were so maintained and picture perfect! One plus we really appreciated was the fact we had use of the laundry room which was also spacious and clean. We would recommend this vacation rental to everyone!!!! It was extremely clean and could not find any faults in that area. It was so much better than staying in a motel where the kids would be bored and get restless. Our kids loved the open grounds to run and play and specially enjoyed the fairyland and finding little trinkets and treasures. what a cleaver idea! The assortment of dvds was also wonderful and every night ended in the wonderful spacious tub. I cant express enough how our planned vacationed turned out to be more than we ever expected! Im saving up and planning our return vacation to the twilight treetop house next year and this time bringing more family to experience the wonderful time we had. See ya next year Anthony and Vicki two wonderful host!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a group of 8 women that stayed in the home in June and it was fantastic. Plenty of room, beautiful views and very relaxing. The home was very clean and the pictures are accurate. Anthony and Vicki, the owners, were very pleasant to deal with and most accomodating to any of our needs. Would rent from them again if in the area. We would recommend hiking the Dungeness Spit and Hurricane Ridge. Wonderful areas and gorgeous views!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This was our 4th year in a row visiting the area. The house was filthy, bedding had not been changed from previous renter. Trash cans were covered with heavy wood, once we got the tops off we found out they were full. We had no place to put the trash because animals kept getting into the bags outside. The owner stayed in the basement. She came in and out at all hours of the night. We were frightened at first because we weren't even aware that she would be there and we thought there was an intruder in the middle of the night. Laundry room was a joke. We had to remove wet moldy clothes from the washer just to do our own clothes. You can hardly move around in there, looks like an episode of hoarders. The path to the fairy treasure is also a joke, my 5 year old followed the old broken statues and found a treasure box of wet, used plastic beads and broken toys. The house is for sale and hasn't been kept up at all. Paint chipping everywhere in addition to a broken shower head in the only bathroom with a shower. The water is very slimy and the water pressure is poor. All dvd players in the house would not work and we had to buy our own. Upstairs bathroom tub was disgusting and had a green slime in the holes. I was afraid to put my daughter in the bath. Owner did not respond well to our complaints. The house is definetely NOT worth the money. The deck on the house seems loose and dangerous. The boards need replaced or tightened. There were broken chairs in the backyard that need to be thrown away and are not safe to sit on. The stove in the kitchen is very dangerous and needs to be repaired. The dishes were dirty and had a very odd smell, We purchased paper plates and plastic utensils for our use. The video game pictured does not work and the room is too small for a pool table, you can hardly shoot from all but one direction. All of the tv's in the house are small and very old. The karaoke machine is also outdated. I would not recommend this house to anyone until it is repaired and inspected.Owner response: We are sorry that this renter is upset. I had just received a very nice letter from the renters on how happy they were with their recent stay and how they truly enjoyed their visit. The house was immacculate when they arrived. Everything was clean and presentable. Electronics and the house is checked before anyone checks in. These guests did not try to contact us once with a problem. When I spoke with them the few times I did, everything by them was lovely. They made no mention of dvd players not working or the shower head being broken. They were working, and they replaced a dvd player of theirs with ours. The water is soft because it is on well water system. Fairy land has a treasure box with beads and coins and a knight in shining armor guarding the actual treasure box in front. There are nice toys in the front box. The kitchen is in working order and the dishes are never put away dirty. The laundry room is good sized and available to the guests with no cost and we provide the laundry soap. We have some extra storage space in a cubby next to the laundry room for extra items guests may use. Crockpot, iron, paper towels and even Toilet paper. The video game has a switch on top to turn on. When Vicki leaves the apt.below when there, she leaves at 7:30 a.m. twice a week to volunteer at the Senior Center in town. Guests knew she was occupying apt. The tvs are regular color tvs, not flat screen, and we do have directv, for guests.. The deck is stable. We are sorry they found fault with everything, as they did not mention one problem to us. It was when I notified them, that the legal contract was broken, by finding & smelling evidence of smoking in the home, that trash was everywhere in the home, & a dvd player missing did they try to smear our home with lies. Sincerely, Twilight Treetop owners. Here is the complainers letter. Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you thank you very much for everything. You have a beautiful home and we appreciate you sharing it with us. We had a wonderful time. As soon as I get a chance I will write a review for you on VRBO. Thanks again,

We loved our family get away at the treetop...It was a "hideaway" away from all the hustle and bustle but we also enjoyed day trips to Port Townsend and Port Angeles ! Anthony and Vicki were so accomodating and helpful. Their place was spotlessly clean and we really enjoyed our stay there!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+.

The excellent rating was a bit high but the house was far above average and better than good--- so I gave it an excellent. The views are magnificant, the house was clean and well equiped. I would/will rent the house again if we are to stay in that area. Investigate the WWII bunkers and facilities at Camp Henley? and on top of Striped Peak.Did you find this review helpful? We stayed at the Twilight treetop house during the Memorial Day weekend. The house is just like the pictures depict. We were 13 including children and the house was comfortable for all of us. The playroom was fully equipped to keep the children as well as adults occupied. I am a little finicky about cleanliness and the house satisfied my needs. The views from the house were also magnificent. The owners were very sweet. They were very welcoming and had arranged a treasure hunt for the kids....which kids enjoyed very much. I have and would definitely recommend it to my friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
