Why the Owner Chose Sunrise Villas
When we first started looking for a town home in Scottsdale, we were attracted to Sunrise Villas because of its proximity to the center of Scottsdale with its world-class shopping, dining and recreation; its serene surroundings (although in the heart of Scottsdale, it is very private and peaceful) and its unparalleled landscaping (generously-sized greenbelts, sidewalks that wind throughout the complex and gorgeous desert plants are featured throughout the entire property). We also liked the idea of a corner-unit, single-level townhome with an oversized patio area. Then, after we purchased our unit, we saw this as an opportunity to create the desert home of our dreams. We remodeled the entire town home, transforming it into a chic, stylish and inviting Hacienda, with inviting paint colors, Mexican tile/stone, authentic Mexican and Spanish Colonial furnishings and state-of-the-art appliances.
The Unique Benefits at this Town Home
We love the fact that our town home is so close to the finest shopping, dining and recreational amenities anywhere, and we take advantage of the attractions of the area whenever we are in the area. We play tennis and enjoy reading by one of the three pools in our complex. In the morning, we enjoy having our breakfast on the patio, and in the evening, the patio is the ideal spot for an outdoor dinner and glass of wine or refreshment. We can actually walk to our nearest grocery store and neighborhood restaurant, and the convenience of that option is also very appealing.

I grew up in the Midwest and my husband grew up in Seattle. We both came to Scottsdale because of employment, but stayed because we loved it! In 2003, my husband was transferred to Houston. Even though it was a great opportunity, we knew we would miss Arizona and it would only be a matter of time before we were back. In 2006 we bought our Scottsdale property and have been thrilled to be able to call both Arizona and Texas home.
