Beautiful Remodeled Waterfront, 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home situated on a deep Canyon Lake Cove. Back yard and decks overlooking the clear blue waters & surrounding hills. The home has been remodeled in spring of 2009 and feels brand new with many modern day conveniences including: new wood floors, new carpet, new tile, kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless appliances. The open floor plan & spacious decking is perfect for relaxing! There is a covered deck upstairs off the family room and kitchen with a wonderful view and also a sitting area downstairs off two of the bedrooms with great views of the water and hill country. Enjoy the lake view as you sit on either deck sipping a cool beverage visiting with friends and family. It feels like home, so make it yours during your stay. We have concrete steps for easy access to and from the water so you can enjoy a day swimming, floating, fishing, kayaking in the water in the deep cove or anchor your boat/jet ski in the cove & have lunch (bring your own or rent one by the hour at the near by marina).
There are two boat ramps within blocks. In the open waters of Canyon Lake you can ski, tube, wakeboard or fish for striped bass, white bass, crappie, perch and very large catfish. Canyon Lake is one of the clearest and most beautiful lakes in Texas. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and has pet-like deer, some will eat out of your hands. It’s very calming, relaxing in this natural environment.
You will find the home to be very accommodating with plenty of space inside and out. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, DVD, large TV with cable and Internet access. A grocery store is nearby for any and all items you may need and there are also great restaurants nearby.
The Canyon Lake area has some of the best tubing; rafting and kayaking with several locations on the Guadalupe River located only minutes from the home. The "horseshoe" is less than 10 minutes away or take a trip to New Braunfels, just a 20-minute drive away to the world’s largest and #1 rated water park, Schlitterbahn, which is on the banks of the Comal River. Tubing is also very popular on the Comal River.
Gruene Hall, Texas’s oldest dance hall, with its famous live music is only a 15-minute drive away. Gruene also offers great restaurants, shops and spas.
San Marcos with its famous Tanger and Prime outlet malls is only 30 minutes away for those that want to catch up on there shopping.
There are many options for day trips to towns, such as Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Wimberley, San Marcos, Johnson City, Bandera, Blanco, Boerne, which makes Canyon Lake a very popular location for lodging.
Canyon Lake is situated between Austin and San Antonio; there are unlimited tourist attractions in the area. You can take a trip to San Antonio to visit Sea World, Fiesta Texas, the Riverwalk, Natural Bridge Caverns, or the Alamo, we are only a short 40 minute drive to San Antonio. Austin is also only 45 minutes away and is known for its live music, numerous restaurants and attractions.
Whatever your preference, you are within easy reach of a number of activities and destinations including: both wineries and breweries, market days, golf courses, shopping, and the numerous water sports and recreation possibilities provided by the clean waters of Canyon Lake and the surrounding Guadalupe and Comal Rivers.
Reservation / Damage Deposit for Canyon Lake Vacation Rental
The reservation / damage deposit, must be received before we can reserve dates and hold the house for you exclusively. It is not considered part of your rental amount. This deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE, TRANSFERABLE, OR REUSABLE. Any changes in dates depend on the availability of the lake house. Please remember that your entire rental amount must be received in the form of personal check, cashier’s check, money order, or traveler’s check, 30 days before your arrival.
WE RENT TO FAMILY GROUPS ONLY and do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. There must be an adult at the house at all times. We do not rent to prom, spring break, graduation, or any other type of party groups.
The house sleeps 8 in beds and can only accommodate a maximum of Ten (10) people total at all times including children. We are on a septic tank so sleeping more people on the floors will overload the house and the septic. When people overload the house they are asked to leave and forfeit the remainder of the rental, including damage deposit.
The reservation deposit will be kept as your Damage Deposit and will be held, until departure inspection is completed. If there are no damages, the money will be returned within 30 days.
