This unit situated in the luxury beachfront home Casa Iguana was completed in January 2009. The premises is fully gated and secured with the latest technology. This is 1 of only 4 luxury suites on the grounds making it very private. We encourage rental of the entire grounds for larger groups.
Casa Iguana is situated at the sleepy south end of Playa Jaco, approximately 1.5 hrs from the San Jose Airport. The grounds are meticulously landscaped around a tranquil waterfall swimming pool. All bedrooms have a private sundeck and every room is air conditioned. The sunsets from the front sundecks are breathtaking. Bright red scarlet macaw parrots fly over the grounds daily and quite often stop to feed on the almonds from the trees that border the back of the property.
The grounds are unique due to the fact they are situated on a small peninsula with beach on the frontage and jungle along the back. It's hard to believe you are a few minutes from town some days with the array of wildlife that resides in the area. We have a property manager that resides on the grounds that will gladly help you with all your needs, be it something simple around the house or setting up the fishing trip you'll never forget. The walk to town up the beach takes less than 5 minutes or a cab will take you in for $2. The funky town of Jaco has something for everyone. There is a very large selection of souvenir shops and boutiques, as well as endless restaurants, cafes and bars. ATM machines and all the other amenities needed can be found in town easily.

Casa Iguana is so wonderful that I almost don't want to tell anyone! I want to be sure it's available when we want to return. The location on Jaco beach is perfect - at the south end of town where it is very quiet and the sandy beach is beautiful. The sunsets are awesome. The house is everything mentioned in the description and more. It was immaculate clean and so well decorated that we thought they were going to do a magazine shoot any minute! Every amenity you could want was there for us and it made us feel like we had a wonderful home away from home. When we made the booking, the owner was very helpful and she stayed in close contact with us as we made our plans. This was very helpful. She made sure that we had all of the contact information that we needed once we arrived. The property managers....oh my...they are fantastic! We've traveled many places and stayed at many VRBO homes, and I can say that Marlon & Tash were the best we've ever had. They were always there to answer our questions. Their recommendations for restaurants and places to go were perfect. They made us feel like family and I know that we will stay in touch with them. We especially enjoyed El Tigre, The Poseidon and Lemon Zest restaurants. We had planned on doing some sightseeing, but ended up spending most of our time around Casa Iguana relaxing and enjoying the beach and pool. This was our third trip to Costa Rica, so we had previously done lots of sightseeing. We would love to return to Casa Iguana and would love to find a way to bring our entire family. We know they would all love it here. We've already begun working on how we can make this happen. To Marlon & Tash (and Casa Iguana) we say, "Gracias y hasta luego."

Our best holiday so far, the condo was superb, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The pool and area was fabulous, with green space, tropical plants, trees etc. Where we really lucked out was with our 2 consuls that lived in a beach house on the property, they taxied us around to different tours, gave us great advice, and by the end became friends, a great couple! Costa Rica is a beautiful country, the people are the best, warm and friendly (pura vida) and the weather, oh the weather, perfect!! We spent our 2 weeks with 4 of our good friends which only added to the wonderful time we had. Going back next year no question!!!

We enjoyed an unforgettable holiday at Casa Iguana in Jaco beach. The property is in the South end of town which is very tranquil and features beautiful beaches, yet we were very pleased how easily accessible town was for groceries, liquor store, boutique shopping, dining and people watching. We spent so much time at the house as it was really a home away from home - very private, superbly maintained, comfortable, and had everything available that we needed. We got to know the property managers very well, who went above and beyond to ensure our trip was one of a kind - they were our 'concierge', area experts, tour guides and in the end we would not hesitate to call them our friends. We will be back to enjoy this residence again and again - next time we hope to bring our family and friends to share so many of the wonderful experiences we shared this trip!

This property is very exclusive has it all, stones throw from the most desirable part of the beach(no stones all sand) a fabulous pool ..the unit we stayed in was a 2 bedroom and our other gals were in the 3 bedroom we had a wonderful time Jaco has alot to offer with most everything close by we could walk into town or ride bikes great surfing out front ..the beds were very comfortable and the units had everything we could need and the decks were to die for ..watching many sunsets over a cocktail ..highly reccomend this property!!

Words do not do this place justice.I felt like I had died and gone to heaven.The home decor was like something out of a magazine,high ceilings,wood cabinets,lots of slate and tile it was all beautifully laid out. The place was immaculate and well maintained.The location was ideal for us as we rode the bikes to town which was about a 5minute ride to get fresh produce everyday.There tomatoes were to die for...We walked the beach every morning which was soooo nice. We did the canopy zip lines which is a 5 minute car ride away,did a monkey tour which was like being in a Tarzan movie highly recommend this venture!!! I could go on and on that is how excited I am aobut this property. It was a holiday of a life time for me and I would recommend this beach home to everyone.
