Remodeled while keeping the old style beach cottage nostalgia; this quaint cottage is one of the original properties on Wrightsville Beach (1927).
This property features an open feel to enjoy the ocean or canal breezes from windows surrounding the house. Parking is abundant under the house with a wide railed front porch overlooking both the ocean and the canal within 200 yards of getting sand in between your toes.
We spend countless hour’s people watching and enjoying the close proximity to all that Wrightsville has to offer.
Totally remodeled house features modest yet more than adequate amenities with heart-pine floors, two large bedrooms privately situated, with bathrooms that offer plenty of room to move around.
The open den/dining/bar and kitchen areas offers you and your guests plenty of socializing within eyes and ears reach in case you leave your drink behind.
We leave the original Hatteras Hammock and our Brazilian Cherry Rocker's on the deck all season so you can enjoy the reason we raised this house up by 10 feet.
If you like an outdoor shower then you will love our private get away with hot and cold so can you wash away the rejuvenating salt water after a long day soaking up the sun on the beach within 200 yards of the elevated porch.
If you need groceries, want to eat a great seafood meal, or want to rent a bike, surfboard, sailboat or sea-kayak then just pack a small daypack and you're a six minutes walk from the center of Wrightsville Beach.
Of course if you need a new outfit or bathing suit you can duck into Sweet Water Surf Shop and find the perfect fit for beauty or beast. Just tell 'em you have a "Local's Card" (15% discount!) but left it at OLE #3.
Perhaps you would like to fish off of the famous Johnnie Mercer's Pier; then just walk four minutes and you're on North Carolina's longest "ocean front dock".

After deciding to take a family vacation with our adult children, we made our destination my favorite beach, Wrightville Beach, NC. We reserved the residence, sight unseen, only through pictures on the internet, and were pleasantly surprises when we arrived. The home was very inviting, comfortable, and relaxing. The owners were very easy to work with. Every email was answered very quickly along with all of my questions. I am hoping to be able to make this an annual vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Cute and comfortable! Loved the porch. The house was very clean and the cookware, sheets, towels, etc., are much nicer than in any other rental property I have stayed in. Everything on the island is an easy walk. Beach and canal are beautiful. I am ready to go back!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

A great place to stay. Close to the beach and a short walk to great food and shops! The decor is relaxing and inviting too!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
