Relax at this classic Muskoka cottage with over 1000 feet of private shoreline in Beaumaris, the historic center of Lake Muskoka. Sit in the oversized screened porch or on the granite deck and enjoy the miles long, island dotted view down the lake. The cottage is on a private peninsula so water surrounds you on three sides, like an island but with easy drive in access.
We were late to list our cottage for rent, so enjoy a 10% last minute discount off our normal rates.
Sail the Sunfish sailboat or enjoy paddling the canoe. Enjoy boating on the biggest of the "big three" Muskoka Lakes.
Two separate cottages joined by a fully enclosed breezeway mean you can have privacy from your kids...or your parents. One cottage has hardwood floors throughout, solid pine paneling and a massive granite fireplace. The other cottage has wall to wall Berber carpet, a wood stove and huge floor to cathedral ceiling windows overlooking the lake. A third option is the pine paneled, fully finished boathouse with two beds and a ping pong table. Get there early to choose your favorite room.
Since the cottage is on a private point, you can follow the sun all day, starting on the boathouse side with a large dock and swimming raft, then follow the sun to watch it set from the swimming dock on the other side complete with cedar chairs and a water slide.
Close to cottage country activities in Port Carling or Bracebridge, but you will never want to leave!
