You decided to come to Montana to get away from it all, and perhaps to enjoy the spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and more laid-back lifestyle. You want a home because the impersonality of motels is just not for you. But you want to be able to reach town quickly, while having those wonderful quiet Montana mornings and evenings. Choose our house, and your dream will come true. Our sunsets are the best in town and the surrounding scenery in every direction is simply breathtaking. And if fishing is your thing, we offer very quick access to the Yellowstone River, with the Gallatin, Madison, and Jefferson within easy driving distance. Mount Ellis lane, where our house is located, is a county-maintained road that ends in state lands. If you wanted, you could hike (or horseback ride) from our house to Yellowstone National Park, never crossing a road. All of that, and town is but six miles (ten minutes) away.
You'll also love the rustic-stained oak floors in the great room and soft cork floors in the kitchen. If you're a gourmet, you'll find everything you need to provide an excellent meal, from a Cuisinart Food Processor, to high end blenders and so much more. And our entertainment options include two flat-screen HD TV's, with HD Satellite reception, 150 channels, blue-ray disc for HD movies and a Wii for those potential rainy days.
The master bedroom includes a Tempupidic King-sized bed. There is a queen bed in another downstairs bedroom, and upstairs, each of the two bedrooms have two twin beds. The huge master bathroom also has a large soaking tub for two to complement an over-sized shower. There are two other full bathrooms in the house. The loft also includes a queen-sized futon. If you have infants, we offer a crib and a pack-and-play.
Visitors during the summer, should be prepared to be awakened by the calls of sandhill cranes that nest on the property. During fall months, you might get a chill down your spine from the bugle of a nearby bull elk. If birding is your cup of tea, we have a tremendous variety of birds on the property, from bobolinks, lazuli buntings and red-naped sapsuckers, to furriginous hawks, golden eagles, sandhill cranes and so many more. Wildlife abounds here and provides a continual delight.
We also offer full horse-boarding as part of your package, with heated automatic waterers to provide for your horse(s) during your stay. Alfalfa-gras hay grown on our property is also available as feed.

Why the Owner Chose Bozeman
We chose Bozeman primarily so that my wife could pursue her advanced degree at Montana State University. I attended University of Montana for my undergraduate degree (a fierce intrastate rival) and wanted to permanently locate to Bozeman. When you've spent a week in this area, you'll quickly learn why so many absolutely adore the community and surrounding area.
The Unique Benefits at this House
It always amazes us when visitors who come to the house, ask "isn't it too quiet for you?" No, it's deliciously quiet. Our viewscapes are simply amazing in all directions, with our nearest neighbors a comfortable distance away. Yet, you're less than ten minutes (six miles from town). The wildlife we have seen on the property includes large herds of deer and elk, and an occasional moose or black bear. And you have private access to all of our private 25 acres, with state lands and national forest an easy walking distance away. We are confident, that similar to us, you will quickly feel your stress ebb away when you stay at Bozeman's Edge Sunset Ranch.

My wife and I moved to Bozeman in 1993, building on this property in 1999. I recently took a job elsewhere for a few years, and we are renting this property in the interim. We are very nature-oriented people, and that will become quickly obvious to anyone who stays at this wonderful property.
