This Oceanside home is steps away from the beach.
We have been told that not only do you feel immediately at home once in but that you even feel pampered with all the special touches we tried to give. The house is really our home and we have done everything that we ourselves would want in a week of summer fun. The colors are vibrant and intriguing.
The house is on a private drive and we are 3 houses away from the beach. We have a wrap around deck, 2 sitting porches and a roof top deck. There are two master suites each with a king size bed, full bathroom and walk-in closet. There are two bedrooms each with queen beds. Last bedroom has 2 twin beds and a trundle that has 2 twin matresses. In between those 3 bedrooms is a bathroom that has the shower, toilet separate fromthe vanity and sink. Upstairs next to the sunlit kitchen is a half bathroom.
The house is OUR home and with that there is no wi-fi. We work hard, study hard most of the year and the time that we have on the beach I insist on minimal technology. My kids can bike to the library to get a computer, the lap top my husband sneaks in mysteriously goes with out a charger. We end up talking, playing games, laughing, reading, drawing, painting, walking, biking, sun bathing, sleeping, loving, cooking, dancing, sunset watching, and just getting re-acquainted with ourselves. Try it!
This home is for summer rentals for adults with or without families. NO corporations, high school, college, prom, graduation, bachelor or bachelorette parties. Rental is for non-smokers and no pets.

- Harvey Cedars is in a very safe neighborhood. Even so we have installed an alarm system.Total of 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, 4 twin beds. House has central vacuum and parking is right in front, fits 3 cars easy, 4 tightly. We have beach chairs, umbrellas available.

Both my husband and I have a love for the ocean. It brings tranquility to the soul. The sounds of the waves truly become embedded in your mind after a couple of days.
Why the Owner Chose Harvey Cedars
We had been visiting the NJ shores for several years. We started renting as far down as Cape May and worked our way up to LBI. We immediately fell in love with the island. I looked at the map of the island and found the narrowest part. We found our home and this way we had the best of both the ocean and the bay. Also the beaches are quieter on this end of the island and sometimes you feel like the ocean is all yours.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We truly love our home. We have a home that is reverse living which means that the kitchen is upstairs. The master bedroom suite is also upstairs. Downstairs we added a junior master suite for the doting "grand-parents" or the fun "guests" we invite. The kitchen has the deck right outside so you can barbecue or not! The roof is a sun deck for the die hard sun iguanas in your family. Kids love the outside showers, and the porch allows for the stragglers to wait their turn. We have pavers on the driveway for kids to play or for those mini baby pools that young parents bring.
