We just returned home from this gorgeous home-away-from home. We can't say enough about it. It's absolutely beautiful. The decor was darling and done very tastefully. There is more than enough room for everyone. The upper level was awesome for our family of eight. We ate our meals up there and played games every night. I am a neat freak and this home was immaculate, a huge plus in my eyes. Kudos to the cleaning staff!! We would recommend this home to anyone. We can't wait to go back!

Absolute Magic!

Wow, We have just returned home after staying at San Belize for a week! Previous to that, we were in Fort Lauderdale for 2 weeks...SO wish it had been the other way around! We HATED to have to leave this wonderful house and location and really have to thank our dog, Monty, as we would likely never have stumbled on this magical corner of the world... Cape San Blas truly is a dog-lovers haven. The dog-friendly beaches are ridiculously beautiful and the atmosphere is SO laid-back!! This house is beautifully presented and even better in person than in the pictures! The ceiling to floor windows and wrap-around verandas are gorgeous features...so much room for everyone(5 adults and the dog)...it worked perfectly for us! Some of the best meals of our 3 weeks spent in Florida were enjoyed in Apalachicola (Tamara's) and Port St. Joe (Jo Mama's). Cannot wait to return :)

Great family reunion

Susan, I wanted to thank-you and let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed the house. (With the exception of the first two days without a/c on the third floor and the weather, it was perfect!) We all agreed that it is wonderfully decorated and furnished. Your home is very spacious, well kept, up to date and very clean. The decks and views were great! It was a short walk to the beach and to the stores. We drove around to some of the other houses we were considering, and yours is definately one of the nicest homes. We are glad we chose San Belize. If we do come back to Cape San Blas, we will surely be calling you.

Second family vacation

Second stay with between 9 - 11 adults, 1 - 2 babies/toddlers, and 2 - 3 dogs, and have already started planning our third visit. We have had " family " vacations with our 3 daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren for the last 15 yrs in various locations. One daughter wanted to go to a pet friendly place and discovered the Island of Cape San Blas last year and she found " Belize " on VRBO, and from the sounds of our group we are not looking for any future locations - the listing description is very accurate of all the amenities- but you can't hear our family's laughter and joy as we cook together, have family dinners at the big tables, play games on the Wii we attach to the big TV, have poker night around the table, play in the pool, look at the stars and moon from the decks,and have fun at the beach.Quiet glasses of wine ( beer, soda, water etc! ) on the deck, reading a good book with the breeze flowing right by, good conversation with family & friends. On facebook my 19 yr old grandson wrote " best vacation ever! " If it's written on facebook, it has to be true!

We had the most wonderful beach vacation at San Belize! The ages ranged from 87 years to 6 months old and the house was just perfect for everyone. For our growing family, the comfortable den and large kitchen and eating area were key, as were the great bedrooms. The homeowners even provided shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion in each of the bathrooms...what a nice touch! Although it was a short walk to the beach, we were able to leave our stuff in the sand overnight, so there was no need to lug everything back and forth each day. The weather was beautiful, which I am sure the homeowners arranged for us, and we had a wonderful time.

Fantastic Family Vacation

This vacation home is wonderful in every way!! The views from the porches were great. The pool and yard were beautiful. The house was very pretty and very well decorated. Everything in the home was well kept and up-to-date (plasma & lcd televisions, bluray player, stainless appliances, very nice furniture, etc). The home was also equipped with everything you need from towels to flatware to the margarita machine! We had a group consisting of my husband & myself, my brother with his wife and their 2 sons (ages 2 and 4), and my parents along with their shihtzu. There was plenty of room for everyone, even a table large enough for all of us inside and on the porch, too! There was also more than enough chairs for everyone to relax on the decks and enjoy the views and breezes. And, one of the most important things, the home & pool were impeccably clean! The entire rental process was simple, comfortable, easy.....a pleasure! The owners were awesome about everything from start to finish. As for entertainment/dining away from the home, we dined at Joe Mama's Pizza and Peppers Mexican restaurant in Port St. Joe. Both were delicious! We also traveled to Up The Creek Raw Bar in Apalachicola and had some amazing oysters. We rented a boat from Seahorse Water Safaris at the marina in Port St. Joe. I would highly recommend doing that! We were able to explore/snorkel/swim several of the sandbars that were under crystal clear water! This vacation was FANTASTIC !!!!

My husband and I, with our 2 kids, invited our parents to join us this spring for a week in our "heaven place". We discovered the cape in 2010 and have vowed to go back each year. San Belize is amazing! Comfortable, family friendly, and well... Perfect! Thank you for helping us create fabulous family memories to last a lifetime!

We had the pleasure of visiting Cape San Blas Dec. 2nd through the 6th and staying in this wonderful house. How often can you walk on the beach, pick up shells, and be the only person there for that period of time? This is my 4th visit to the Cape and I never tire of it. I must say this is the nicest house we have stayed in yet. San Belize is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and everything was working. The photo's do not do it justice. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to relax.

Our family absolutely loves your beach house! Everyone had an awesome time and the beach itself was so beautiful...I hate it for those who cancelled their trips because of the concern of the oil damage because it was perfect. The guys took the boat out several times to fish and had lots of fun....by the way, the space for parking the boat and truck is perfect....just back it in and pull it out...my husband loves the convenience. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with our family...it was a special week for all of us!

Best rental home we have stayed in(have rented many homes in the cape area as well as Destin area) Great Decorations and clean Layout perfect for families with children Greatly enjoyed the private pool and fenced yard perfect for our dogs Short walk to beach and wagons were very helpful Great views from third deck I will definitely be contacting you for nect year, maybe sooner if I can get some time off in October

Just returned from San Belize. It was absolutely awesome. Beautiful house with plenty of room. Too bad the time went so fast. Our grandchildren had such a good time. Our 9 year old grandson caught 7 fish-6 whiting and the last night a good size pompano. The smile on his face was worth a million dollars. What was really great was that we did not bring anything but the food. We are already planning next year.

I am so glad we chose San Belize. The location was awesome. We went to Panama City for a day and couldn't wait to get back to the peace and solitude of the house. We could see the ocean on both sides of the house. It was perfect, we loved the family room and had a great time. The pool was perfect and the kids made perfect use of it. It was a bit cool to be on the beach, but we made the most of it and because the house and pool were so great we had a perfect time. The house was very clean and I am very picky when it comes to that. We had a bonfire on the beach, flew kites and built sandcastles. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

We got home to Tallahassee this afternoon after spending a week at San Belize and I just wanted to let you know that we had such a wonderful time...it is an absolutely amazing beach home...everyone loved the design and the way you have decorated and furnished it. Having the elevator was such a help. It was an awesome vacation home for our extended family and we all agreed we should go back to San Belize again next year! This house is a WONDERFUL beach rental and could easily accomodate 2-3 families as it is very spacious with 2 separate family rooms and more than ample sleeping options. The entire top floor is the family room, kitchen and dining room and is a fantastic space for all to enjoy. The house is decorated wonderfully with high-end furnishings and electronics with plasma screens and dvd players throughout. The balconies are spacious with great views and the pool and pool deck are great! You are very close to the beach as well as the 2 stores on the Cape as well as the state park. An added bonus is the elevator. I can't recommend this home any more highly and can't wait to go back! Thanks Susan for making our Memorial Day trip so memorable by sharing your wonderful home with us!
