This little brown cabin was built in 1946 and sets on the slopes of Eagle Cliff Mountain. It has been in the Brown family for 50 years and has been very well maintained. The cabin is in a quiet area with the other cabins at a very comfortable distance. You can enjoy the views of Longs Peak from the front porch or watch the deer and elk who are frequent visitors. With its knotty wood enterior and rustic charm it makes for a great Rocky mountain getaway.
The bedroom, kitchen, bathroom (shower only), an all window dining porch, and living room are all on one level. In the loft it has 3 single beds which is perfect for children. Also if the full bed in the bedroom is not big enough it has a very comfortable queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
This cabin is perfect for couples that are looking to honeymoon in Estes, anniversaries, birthdays, or any other special occasion. It also has plenty of room for 2 or 3 children or another couple.
This cabin is to be enjoyed during the summer season.

Little Brown Cabin offered great accomodations-convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park and restaurants. Truly everything was provided that one might consider at a cabin-crockpot, extra soap, dish towels, very clean cabin, comfortable furnishings, discount card -Rocky Card-for local activities/restaurants, bottled water in refrigerator, plenty of boxes of tissue paper for those new to the "thin air." The bathroom is small but no big deal-it's been well kept through the years. The details to making one's stay pleasant is noticed and appreciated.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Wonderful cabin! We enjoyed our stay very much, and the owners were very helpful when we had problems. Our children (ages 8 and 10) loved the private loft, and so did we. We would definitely return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

Spotlessly clean cabin with tons of charm! Beautiful view of Long's Peak from the living room window. Stocked with both games and books to use while relaxing at the cabin. The kitchen is squeaky clean with all the pots, pans & dishes you need to cook your own meals. Every little touch made us feel like we were at home, including the flower box under the window with brightly blooming geraniums. Don't be surprised when deer and elk stroll by the windows as you're eating dinner! We're sure anyone would enjoy a week at the Little Brown Cabin as much as we did, especially if you have the opportunity to meet the owners, who were so kind as to share their knowledge of both Estes Park & Rocky Mountain National Park with us, making our stay there even more enjoyable.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I stayed with my two teenage boys at this cabin and we absolutely LOVED it!! It was my younger one who commented over and over about how "adorable" it is. The highlight was when a beautiful doe came to see what was for dinner one evening! My kids really enjoyed having their own sleeping loft upstairs. The cabin was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We took advantage of some of the card decks and games available in our evenings. The cabin is very clean and very well-maintained, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owners as we were leaving. They are a charming and very gracious couple who takes great pride in the cabin, as it has been in the family for generations! Access to RMNP is less than 5 minutes away, and the drive into downtown Estes Park is very quick as well. Just enough privacy, but close to local amenities. We loved our stay, and miss it already!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We just got home from 3 nights in the Little Brown Cabin and we're already missing it terribly! The pictures make it look cute, but don't quite do it justice. It is so much more adorable and spacious than we were expecting! The views are amazing, lots of room outside to explore, and we saw lots of wildlife. And the inside was so clean, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. The owners truely thought of everything, from the candy dish on the counter, to the umbrella and fly-swatter, and all the helpful Estes brochures. I have nothing but great things to say about this cabin! We can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We spent three nights at the Little Brown Cabin and enjoyed the accomodations. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It was also very convenient to RMNP and the Beaver Creek entrance. My 12 year old son enjoyed all the books available and some of the old time decorations. He slept in the attic which was perfect size (ceiling height ) for kids or small adults. The bathroom was very tiny but since we are fairly small (5:6") and slim it worked for us. We hated leaving.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
