We just returned from our trip to Panama City and we had a fantastic time! We LOVED, LOVED the condo! It is beautiful, clean and makes you feel like you are at home. The owners were great to work with prior to arrival and the resort was extremely accommodating and easy to get around. Our girls LOVED everything about the condo (especially the bunk beds), resort and beach. The owners have a closet filled with sand toys, beach chairs, etc. It is so nice to arrive on vacation and have everything you need right in the condo. Thank you Susan and David for sharing this beautiful condo and we hope to return to Panama City in the near future. Your condo will be our first choice when we return.

This condo is beautiful and very comfortable. It was well set up and clean. It's location is excellent for beach time during busy weekend!! The owners were very easy to work with and sweet. It make you feel at home and peaceful not like being in a hotel -- so much better. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to get away and feel like you own a beach house - the warm feeling you get. We had an amazing time!!!! Thank you for allowing us to use your home!!! :)

Spacious and comfortable condo

My family just returned from our first spring break trip to Panama City Beach. Even though the weather was not the best, 10 degrees below normal, we had a great time at this resort and loved the condo. First, the owners are great to work with. Susan was very responsive to my questions leading up to the trip and the condo was just as advertised. We loved that the resort was gated and there were always security and resort staffers present. We ate twice at Oceans, the food is good and reasonable. The beach is maintained each night, very clean. We also found the heated outdoor pool (Tower 2) early in our stay. My husband and 8 year old son played a round of golf and were very happy with the course. Challenging for a par 3 course. The Edgewater itself is an older complex and some of the exteriors are starting to show their age. However, the grounds and the amenities are very well maintained. The unit is also very well maintained and comfortable, you won't be disappointed. Some of our favorites on the trip include Gulf World Marine Park and Dusty's Oyster Bar. Enjoy!

Wonderful location and beautiful view! The condo is exactly as shown, clean and well furnished. A perfect place to stay! We plan to book again next year.

My family stayed here for a week at Memorial Day and we were absolutely thrilled. The condo was very up to date with beautiful furnishings. It has gorgeous "real" furniture and not that cheap "beachy" style furniture which I hate! The condo was very close to the elevator and parking lot so we didn't have far to walk. It's also super close to the condo's pool. This condo is easy to get to and is centrally located to all of the shopping centers and restuarants plus water parks and goofy golf! We would definitely stay here again!!!

My family and I stayed in the Gardner's unit for our summer beach vacation, and we could not be more pleased. We have vacationed in PCB, and stayed at Edgewater numerous times. It had been a few years since our last stay at EBR, mostly due to the quality of the condos going down. We decided to do some research and see if we could find a renovated condo to go back. We were so excited to find Gardner's Beach Retreat, so we quickly booked! When we arrived, we could not be more pleased! WOW!!!!!! This unit is amazing! The view, the decor, the location...you cannot find a better condo at Edgewater! Susan was a dream to work with throughout the rental process, which made the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing! We are already ready to book again for next year!!

This condo is VERY nice, comfortable, safe and secure. The location and gulf views are magnificent ! Everything you need for a spectacular getaway is included with this condo. I look forward to going to this condo again soon.

What -A-Condo!!! We've tried the rest,this is the BEST!! Beautiful-Comfortable-Convenient. The Gardner's were so helpful. One hundred ten acres of pure luxury! Gated community makes you feel so safe and secure. Beautifully decorated with the best furnishings we've found anywhere,Bar None! All the extra's of home. See you again next year. Wanted to thank the Gardner family for the time we spent in their wonderful condo!! The decor and amenities were fabulous! Everyone that came in for a visit commented on how nice it was and wondered how we got such a nice unit. Most of our friends rented directly from Edgewater and were not as pleased with their units. Rent this unit..you will not be sorry!!!!

David & Susan Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo. The weather was perfect for golf, we played everyday! Had a great time. The condo was so clean and up to date. Loved the comfortable mattresses and the full sized washer/dryer. The location was so convenient to great shopping and good food. Great view of the ocean, watched the dolphins play from the balcony, it was great!!!!! Would love to live here year around, we'll definitely be back!!!! Thanks again Valerie & Gary

I have stayed at other condo's at Edgewater, and always enjoyed them. This condo was in need of cleaning, exterminating, and repairs! First of all, they have huge roaches. They were literally crawling up the wall beside the bed at night. The toilets were supposed to be clean according to the maid but had not been cleaned under the rim. There was what looked like pet vomit or feces on the patio. That is if you could open the sliding door to get there! The door was so hard to open. It would not slide. The shower drains do not drain. You can not take a shower without the water coming up to your knees unless you have no water pressure. I worked hard and paid a lot to have a nice time and this was the worst condo I have ever stayed in. There are lots of nice condos. at Edgewater...don't let the pictures fool you on this one. It was filthy!!!

Owner response: In Feb. 09 we purchased our condo at Edgewater. We spent a great deal of money and completely renovated the unit making it one of the nicest and most desirable on the beach. Since that time approximately 50 families have chosen to rent and stay in our "home on the beach". Forty nine of the 50 have said nothing but positive and complimentary comments about our condo and their stay there. However "one" of the 50 chose top be very critical and say negative things about the unit apparently in an effort to force us to refund a portion or all the rental fee. We did not yield to their "strong arm" tactics and as a result those tenants wrote the very critical and untrue comments recorded on our VRBO site.

06/26/2010 Our family thoroughly enjoyed the summer vacation at Edgewater Beach Resort! The condo is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was very comfortable and had all of the comforts of home. We especially liked being on the first floor as it was very convenient to use the steps instead of the elevator. Our stay at this condo could not have been better. Everything inside was brand new and the view is spectacular. The condo is on the first floor so there is easy access to everything in the resort with just a short walk. I couldnt imagine staying anywhere else in PCB. My wife and i will stay there again and again.

This condo is without a doubt the very best in Panama City. It is absolutely beautiful and I felt immediately connected to the owners. The hospitality they provide will make you feel very special. The location cannot be better because it is on the first level up and convenient to everything on the property. We will most definitely stay here again and again!

If you are looking for a place in PCB this is the condo for you. Extremely clean & tastefully decorated, with the most comfortable beds you will ever sleep on. It's also first floor convenience. Would definitely recommend this condo!!!

The week we spent at your condo was great. I loved the atmosphere that you have created and the tasteful way you have it decorated. I really enjoyed just being able to walk out on the balcony and enjoy the great view of the gulf and one of the many pools. I hope we will be able to return to Gardner's Beach Retreat again soon. Very nice condo. Everything is new. The furniture is very nice and clean. The kitchen is new with beautiful granite countertop. Located on the first floor was very convinient, you could use the stairs to the beach instead of elevator. You will like this condo.

Our vacation at your beautiful condo was extremely nice. Edgewater Beach Resort was one of the nicest our family has ever experienced. There was something for everyone. While there we enjoyed the golf courses, fitness room,the beaches and the lagoon pool. Our stay at your condo was a very nice & memorable one.We definitely plan to return.
