This beach villa was immaculate at check in. It was quiet and the view was worth a million bucks, and best of all - you can take your pooch with you. Villa is dog freindly and floors are tile for most part, which makes it nice for guests and pets. The beds were comfy, which is a tough find at some VRBOs. Kitchen was very functional with everything you need to cook. Neighbors were nice, laundry roon a big plus and its an easy walk to great spots to eat or shop nearby. Bay is right out your front door and beach is just accross the street, so cool. Not a fancy or upscale rental, instead its a very clean, practical, well furnished, well sited villa with all the things you need for a great stay. Its beachy casual and made for a relaxing, easy staycation. Size of unit is good, bay front patio is FABULOUS. We took some gourds and pumpkins to decorate inside the unit for an Oct stay and we took a bright tablecloth to perk up the patio table - and the place looked adorable. We will stay there again. We had never stayed RIGHT on the beach before, mostly because it has not been cost effective for us. After emailing dozens of rentals and inquiring about rates, this one seemed the most practical (family of 5) and best yet, RIGHT on the beach! We had a wonderful time, and I plan to stay RIGHT on the beach each time we come down from now on, in fact we plan on staying RIGHT where we stayed this time around ;o) Thank you!

We have a family of 5. This house and location could not be better. The place was clean and tidy. Very important to the Mrs. Everything was perfect for us. We met the neighbors to the North. They are full time residents and have a wonderful little boy that our kids had the privilege of playing with. Fantastic family. No noise at night as compared to the ocean side of Mission. We all slept well. Great fireworks show to watch each night from Sea World. Close to Ralph's for grocery shopping. P.S. There is a coffee machine and filters supplied as well as a flat screen TV with a DVD player in the side of the TV that was not listed on the appliances. Thank you!

Thanks so much for a great experience! This place was perfect for myself and my family who was visiting out of town (three adults and two small children). It was the perfect space in a perfect location and we couldn't beat the price! Had a great stay at this rental. Weather did not cooperate, but with 5 people we managed not to strangle each other and all was still comfy cozy inside. The great views of the beach were a bonus when we got to watch the rain hit the bay ;o) Would recommend this place to all!

We just spent 2 weeks in the Peterson's rental and had a wonderful stay. Very clean, minimalist, and homey. The patio was great for evening BBQ's and afternoon people watching. The beach is right there and is very calm and serene compared to the Ocean. It was fun watching the sailboats and paddle-boarding and the neighbors were all very friendly. We will be staying again next year.

Cute and Cozy. We stayed here the first week in June and after never being to San Diego, I am so glad we chose this rental over the others. First, there was a beautiful personal patio located directly out the front door that was right on the beach (no exaggeration, we stepped out of the house to the patio/boardwalk/sand). They supplied a BBQ grill and patio furniture that we used every night as we watched the sunset over the beautiful bay backdrop. The inside of the house was spotless... no old used bed sets, everything seemed brand new. The kitchen was large with a small breakfast nook and even included a dishwasher! They supplied us with pots, pans, dishes, flatware, cooking utensils, and even aluminum foil and baggies :). The only issue we had was that we stayed with another couple who used the guest suite and there are 2 twin beds in there.. but we knew that coming in, so no big deal. Overall this was THE most quiet and serene vacation spot I have ever visited, and I will be back!
