This family home is new to the rental market. House is "open finish" built by Stanmar. Constructed in the early 70's, regularly updated and used only in the summers, reluctantly the family is making the home available for rental for the month of August and possibly September.
Anyone who knows Scraggy Neck realizes that this is a very special place. Essentially it is an island connected to the main land by a long causeway with beaches on both sides. Gated security at beginning of causeway, access to several other private beaches maintained by an active volunteer homeowners association, views of Buzzards Bay, privacy, make this a very unique experience.
Home is on a slight hill, with no water view, but within a three to ten minute walk to most beaches. Large deck is perfect for entertaining. Not appropriate for families with very young children(under three years old) as it is an "upside down house" with main living quarters on second floor; spiral staircase with no protection.
