This 1920 Beach Bungalow is centrally located to downtown dining and shopping. The community pool, tennis courts and the Carpinteria State Beach Park are all within walking distance of a few blocks. Listen for the surf breaking when the swell is up. Enjoy beautiful mountain and sunset views from the front porch. This Bungalow has the charm of an older home with wood floors and tile counters and is well cared for. You can spend a week here without once needing to drive anywhere. All your needs are provided for just 3 blocks from the house. We have provided 2 surfboards and 2 boogie boards with towels and beach chairs for your use at the beach. Surf lessons can be arranged too. Carpinteria is one of the last remaining small California beach towns and is known for it's relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

If you do want to explore further, Santa Barbara is only 15 minutes up the road and offers many options from museums, whale watching, harbor sight seeing, shopping, movies and excellent restaurants. The Santa Barbara Mission, the County Court House, and Lotus Land Botanical Gardens are some of the top destinations. Musical concerts at the County Bowl or local clubs like SoHo offer many choices too.
