Nestled among the hemlock and spruce at the base of Max's Mountain, you can watch birds and squirrels in the woods and fall sleep in the moonlight.
Girdwood is a beautiful 35 mile drive south of Anchorage along the Seward Highway. Along the way, you might see Dall sheep, Beluga whales, eagles and the Bore Tide rushing up Turnagain Arm. You'll want to spend time exploring the forests and culture of this mountain hamlet by the sea. We have seven glaciers that line the Valley, gold in the streams, world class skiing and fabulous dining at the local establishments.
Girdwood is home to Alyeska Resort with fun for every season. Backcountry travelers will also be delighted with endless mountain trails for biking and hiking along with powder skiing both within Girdwood Valley and in nearby Turnagain Pass.
Schneeberg is all new construction with custom wood finishing and two brilliant decks. This hand crafted interior was custom finished by a local carpenter who's attention to detail is noted throughout the home. The floor plan is open with no private bedroom. The kitchen, bathroom and living area are on the main floor with a deluxe steam shower and French doors leading to a view of Ragged Top Mountain.
Upstairs, the master sleeping area is spacious and open, outfitted with a queen sized TempurPedic bed. This 900 square foot chalet is perfect for couples seeking quality time together or individuals looking for quiet solace.
