Come and relax in this alpine wonderland (only 1 1/2 hours from Seattle) and enjoy our recently custom-built cabin/house. Two downstairs bedrooms have queen beds. Upstairs bedroom has two twins with trundles. And, for large families, there is a queen-size futon in the loft.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, disposal and microwave. Two ceiling fans, gas fireplace, cable TV, VCR, DVD, CD player, lots of videos, DVDS, CDS, and a private hot tub. Lots of kids' toys and kids' paraphernalia available if needed. Just ask.
We're located in a recreational paradise. We have bicycles available, but if they don't fit, there is the Roslyn Cyclery shop nearby. In warm months enjoy fabulous hiking, golfing, fishing, boating, jet skiing, water skiing, rafting, and horseback riding. In winter months enjoy snowmobiling, sledding, tubing, cross country skiing and snow shoeing out the front door.
For snowboarding and downhill skiing, Snoqualmie Summit is just 30 minutes away. We're located approximately 500 yards behind Suncadia's nature Conservancy where elk and other wildlife roam free. The walks, biking and snow shoeing there will amaze you.
In Roslyn enjoy the Roslyn Coal Mine Museum and the well-known historic, ethnic cemetery. The Roslyn Cafe, known for its part in Northern Exposure, is still serving good food. Plus, Roslyn has plenty of fun, funky restaurants and bars. The town has fun events all summer including the Roslyn Sunday Market.
Suncadia, a very close by world-class resort, has two beautiful golf courses, bike trails, ice skating, and cross country ski trails. Their restaurants are first-class.

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2004
Steve oversaw the construction of the house in 2004. His mom, Deborah, became a joint owner in 2007. So, we have a getaway for three generations to enjoy. Steve's two young sons' very frequent refrain is "When are we going to the cabin?"
Why the Owner Chose Ronald
The close proximity to Issaquah (70 minutes), peace, quiet, clean air and dryer climate east of Snoqualmie Pass provide the ideal getaway from the stress of living and working in suburban Seattle. Recreational opportunities abound. But, for sheer unwinding, we've never found anything to beat it. We can feel our blood pressure begin dropping about the time we exit I-90 at Exit 80.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Special times with family and friends (including our dogs). Whether its walking through the Suncadia nature conservancy, sledding down the specially designated neighborhood sledding hill, or roasting marshmallows over the firepit, these simple things are what keep us returning.

We had an awesome trip over memorial day weekend. The setting was beautiful, the house was gorgeous and the owners are wonderful people. I would definitly recommend this place and if they'll have us, we'd love to go back again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+.
