Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival must be in writing or full payment will not be refunded.
Bookings made within 14 days of scheduled arrival cannot be cancelled and therefore are non refundable.
Any cancellations that are non-refundable may be transferred to another date during the off season time within 1 year of the cancellation date, pending availability.

- Almar House Cottage is only a 2 minute walk from the Main. St. In addition, right outside the front door, is a recreational park with a community centre that includes an outdoor pool, tennis courts, beach volley-ball, soccer field, walking, hiking and biking trails. This open area also has picnic benches and is equipped with a childrens playground.

Year Purchased: 2009
Chris and I have owned and operated a successful Bed and Breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake for five years now. We both love to meet new people, cook, garden and, believe it or not, clean. It only seemed natural that we would go into this type of business.
At times we found people that wanted to make a reservation at our B&B were unable to because we were fully booked and hence...Almar House Cottage was born.
We have both travelled quite extensively and enjoy spending time with others and have been fortunate enough to make many good friends from our B&B and our guests that visit regularly.
It is our hope with Almar House Cottage Rental that we can expose others to this wonderful area...there is so much to do and see. It is only fair others get to experience what a true, and rare gem our Town is!
Why the Owner Chose Niagara-on-the-Lake
We are originally from the busy city of Toronto so it's tough to believe we now live in the quaint Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. To be honest though we both fell in love with this area the moment we visited here over 5 years ago. I only have one word for Niagara on the Lake...BEAUTIFUL. Although it is quaint and has that Old Village feel there is so much to see and do. Why not spend the day visiting the wineries, or going to the theatre, or shopping on the Main St., or choose from the many fine dining or casual restaurants, or just sit and relax on a patio over looking the water, or check out the many antique shops and art galleries, how about golfing, or cycling. Truly it has it ALL!!!
I know never say never...but I must say it is NOT LIKELY that we will live anywhere else in the world.

Right beside the tennis courts, bike trail (literally on other side of the street), park, 5 min walk to main street. Great location for outdoor activities and young children and people with dogs. Clean, comfy, well-equipped cottage. Loved the back yard - lots of spring blooms, and great for kids. Will definitely return here. Host/hostess very friendly and accomodating.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
