Great Time at a Great Cabin

We recently rented the Saddle cabin for a mogul competition at Heavenly. It was just perfect. The kids found a route thru the trees to ski right to the cabin. It was within walking distance from the main California lodge which worked well since we had a number of trips back an forth from ski hill to kitchen. The owner, Tory was a joy to work with. We will definately be back!

Perfect Heavenly rental

This place was just perfect. We had 2 couples and a toddler. There was plenty of room. The "loft" is a huge great room upstairs with 2 king beds. The beds were VERY comfortable and cozy. There were all the amenities...organic shampoo, soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, extra towels and sheets, washer/dryer, pack-n-play, and a baby gate. There was a storage area for our snowy things. The location was about a block from the California lodge parking lot. Walkable, but we chose to drive and park our car. The back yard was all wooded and made for a great "after ski" playground for sledding and making snowmen. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/dishes and utensils. There is a large screen TV and comfy couches. The owner/manager was very helpful and extremely accommodating with our needs. I would absolutely stay in this rental again and would highly recommend it. It's a great value for the amount of space you get and the location.

Nice and Cosy in the Woods

Hi, my husband and I, my mother and our two children (5 and 7) stayed here for over 2 weeks in January 2011 for our ski holiday from Heavenly (we are from Sydney Australia). We had a great time and LOVED Heavenly! The cabin is very well set-up, and when we seemed short of a few things for the kitchen, Tori was only too happy to drop them around! (mixing bowls from memory!). We had some really cold weather and the house was always warm and cosy. Positives: large loft - had 2 king size beds, close to lifts (although you would not want to walk the distance in ski boots - we always had to drive, but you could ski home), personal touches, friendly and helpful owners Negatives: needs some more powerful lighting, better storage for ski gear after skiing. Great location for a ski holiday!

Great Cozy Cabin in Amazing Location!!!

What an amazing find!! This cabin was the perfect rental for our 2 young children and our friends with their 2 young children. This cabin is located right next to Heavenly Ski Resort (can literally walk there) and also walking distance to the Gondola located by the Marriot Villas/Plaza. There are no neighbors on either side and the back has a perfect hill for kids to go sledding out in the back. Our kids had so much fun!! You are a quick 5 minute drive to Harvey's and Harrah's and even closer to a variety of restaurants and Raley's. When we arrived, the cabin was very clean and tastefully decorated. What was important for us also was the fact that their was wifi since a couple of us had to work a little. Tory (the owner) makes the process extremely easy and is very knowledgable of the area. We would without a doubt rent this cabin in the future.

we stayed thre for new year´s 2011, every thing was ok and as pomised, also the owner was very helpfull with tips to get arround. and was available by phone or e-mail when needed. good priced, clean and very accesible. we enjoyed our stay and we recomend this property. we hope to come back soon

This lovely bigger-than-it-looks property was a real delight for our week long stay. Our two families from a sub-tropical area of Australia loved the magical winter wonderland while we were there. We had an easy walk to the Heavenly California Base, and a fun snowboard 'home'! We also easily did the scenic drive to Squaw Valley to snowboard there as well; and visited Virginia City from this property. The kids loved the large loft; the wi-fi & huge tele; all equipment, linen & even conveniences were thought of. Thanks Tory for a completely delightful experience.

HEAVENLY is exactly what this cabin is!

Our weekend in this cabin far surpassed our expectations! So large and cozy, not to mention thrilling to have a backyard that the kids AND adults couldn't get enough of! Sledding and snowboarding right outside the back porch and skiing/snowboarding on Heavenly resort a mere 2 blocks from the front door! Every lovely touch including the decor, all added to our spectacular weekend. We were so happy we stayed a day longer than scheduled! It was so homey we didn't want to leave at all! We have already booked another date in this ideal cabin. So easy to get to and so easy to get to everything else you want or need! The owners are very charming and pleasant making this an even better find! This cabin has total privacy with not only huge family appeal but very romantic as well! We highly recommend the Stateline Brewery for excellent food and a multitude of beers and large screens for sports. It is on the main drag and easy to find as was everything else! Great shopping and shows, too! The huge screen TV in the living room was so much fun for the kids. We all truly felt like it was OUR home in Tahoe. Now we will only go to Tahoe if we can book this jewel. After staying here we really don't care to look any further. This IS that dream cabin you've been hoping to find. Beverlee and Family

We have stayed here two summers now! It is wonerful! Nicely decorated, cozy, conveinent and secluded. Morning hikes and bike rides start right off the driveway. Can't wait to stay in the winter!
