We first fell in love with Amelia Island 10 years ago while on Easter Vacation. We couldn't believe how beautiful the beaches and grounds were on the Plantation. There is so much for our 5 children to see and do. The kids love the playgrounds and looking for sharks teeth, turtles and rabbits. We are always riding our bikes to Cooper's Ice Cream for a special treat. We've been to resorts all over Florida, but when we discovered the Plantation we knew we had to make a second home at this very special place.

It was beyond my expectations! It was very well appointed and the colors were so calm and soothing. The kids loved the cubbies upstairs and it was so wonderful for them to have their own space. Cute beyond words. The views were awesome both the beach side and over the canopy of trees. The only problem I had was that I had to leave!! We hunted for sharks teeth and found a ton. Saw dolphins in the morning and boogie boarded in the afternoon (yes the old grannies - 59 yrs.) we loved it. We were more adventurous than the kids. (by the way most of all the boards were cracked in two but we managed to make the best of them) Again we recommend it highly and want to come back before next summer! I will be in touch! Thanks for letting us share,

This condo was a great place for our extended family including one infant. Although it is three levels and on the third floor, it is outfitted to be baby/child-friendly. The loft beds are enchanting and big enough for grown kids! The property is clean, well-maintained and beautiful. The resort is huge with bike/golf cart trails winding through the property. One would not need to drive after arriving, although a short jaunt to Fernandina Beach is recommended. The resort, including the beach and swimming pool were peaceful, not overcrowded. We would love to return someday!

What a wonderful time we had in your beautiful condo. We thought we were in paradise but anything we might have wanted or needed was just minutes away. We loved just relaxing on the balcony enjoying the ocean view, or walking on the beach or the georgeous boardwalks. Amelia Is. Plantation has so many neat restaurants, shops and activities and we loved going down to the historic Fernandina with all their restaurants and neat shops. There was even a music ensemble going on in the park which we enjoyed while eating ice cream. It took us back in time! The condo itself is lovely with everything we needed. We were ready to move in! Seriously, it would be a perfect place to "winter" - even plenty of space for a visit from family. Thank you for all the helpful information and being the gracious hosts that you are..

Dear Debbie & Family, We just got back from our wonderful week on Amelia Island and we just loved it. Your home is charming and well stocked and clean. The view is spectacular! We saw dolphins and beautiful sunsets and a wild rain storm complete with power outage! The children loved the bunk rooms. We spent the day going from beach to pool, pool to beach, and came home sandy and tired. The staff on the Plantation could not have been more helpful or friendly. We highly recommend lunch at the Market and ice cream at Coopers - yummy! We went in to Fernandina once ( 'cause it was raining!) but were happiest at the beach. We did the kayak tour one morning - three manatees followed us for half an hour - awesome! Golf, exercise on the beach, long walks, lots of new sea shells...could go on and on. And many thanks for the wonderful welcome gift we found upon our arrival - a great surprise after our long trip! It was a great week!

OMG! Thank you. The first thing I planned to do when I got home from our trip was to email you to tell you what a great place you have down there, and what a fabulous time we all had! But then, real life set in! The sleeping arrangements could not have worked out better. The villa was so terrific for drinking our coffee in the morning and just hanging out. We had a hard time dragging ourselves off the beach so only made it out to dinner twice (Sliders and The Surf)! I hate to say it, but we never even made it to that little town of Fernando (?). We decided that if we had been there a little longer, or if the weather had been even a little bad, or perhaps the next time we go down, we will for sure make an effort to get there. Thank you for sharing your very special place with us old gals. It was a very restorative and fun time for us all. We have been getting together in a different place every other year since 1996, and yours is top on the list!
