We are right on the Lake, on Palisades, where all docks have deep water so you can really enjoy the Lake. Our dock is steps down from the house. The walk path which curbs around the Lake is right down the steps from us. It makes for great light hiking. We are walking distance to all the restaurants in Cedar Glenn and also to the Supermarket.
Fantastic for winter get away. Close to ski slopes.

Awesome Vacation I decided to post this review because I almost did not choose this house based on the review above. Thank God I decided to call the owner and ask her about some of the pointers and after my conversation with her, we decided to take the trip. It was the most incredible stay. The only true part of the above review is that the owner is very meticulous and does not “over rent” the place. And the place shows it. It is clean and well taken care of and feels like home. It is nice to have nice paintings and cool furniture, as opposed to some of the horribly decorated cabins. The kitchen is loaded (nice serving dishes, wine glasses,…). I actually checked the mattress in the master and noticed that it was a tempurpedic mattress (they run upwards of $1000). My son and his friends loved the bunk-bed! All beds have down comforter and down pillows with soft sheets. Down at the dock was toy galore! Brand new kayak that my husband and I used every day for a work out. Tons of water guns that my son and his friends used to have epic water battles! Lots of floaties, fishing poles (btw my daughter caught her first fish ever!). We enjoyed our meals on the deck, over-looking the beautiful Lake. All in all, I think above reviewer is just disgruntled because they had to pay for the paypal fee. We followed the instructions, clearly posted on the property website and paid by check. We had the most amazing vacation and to think we almost didn’t go there!

My siblings and I rented this place for our parents 50th anniversary nostalgia trip. It has full living on the main floor so stairs not a problem for older people. However the stairs are narrow and difficullt to manuver even for younger people. Beds leave alot to be desired being Ikea specials. Foam mattresses. Owner requires history and biographies on renters. Lots of questions and instructions on how to best care for her property. And white furniture, white carpets and expensive painting in living room make it very tedious. Dock is a bit run down and stairs leading down from outside deck rickety. Toys advertised on the dock are old and inflatables leaked. Even though we had a good time we will rent a more renter friendly place next time. And plan to pay by check. My sister had to talk her into using PayPal and owner unwilling to absorb process fee.
