THE "SHIPHOUSE" is a fantastic old 3+ bdrm house on the Lagoon overlooking Monterey Bay. It is shaped like a ship and inside it "feels shippy". The decorating follows this theme. The main living area is on the ground level. The upstairs has the decks and sunroom and great views of the lagoon and the ocean. It is ideal for surfing and taking in all the Santa Cruz oceanside activities. All of the furnishings are modern and more like a B&B than a vacation rental.
Fully furnished kitchen with deluxe appliances, pot and pans and toasters, microwaves, blenders and mixers and cork screws and .... All the linens and towels that 12 people can use in a week and then an extra set if you need them. TV's and VCR's/DVD players, Stereo and board games. A charcoal BBQ and table/chairs on the lower deck and more!

The Unique Benefits of this House
This is coastal living at it's best! The cool, fresh air coming off the ocean feels good. A short walk down the path along the lagoon takes you to a sandy public beach which allows dogs and beach fires. Within 2 blocks you will find restaurants and convenience stores. The Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk is less than 2 miles away. Some of the best surfing in the world, Pleasure Point, is 3 blocks away. There are tons of great restaurants in the area.
