Deer Creek Lodge is a stunning 3 story mountain lodge with 3 huge master suites- one on each level for extra privacy. This amazing lodge is the perfect destination for families and friends celebrating reunions, birthdays, weddings or just about any special occasion. This beautiful lodge is a tribute to the talents of many local artisans and craftsmen.
The lower level has a large walk out master suite with attached bath and also on the lower level is a game room with a foosball table, a kids gaming table, board games, puzzles, card games and much more. The game room also has a set of bunk beds - kids love this room!
The main level features an open floor plan with the kitchen open and accessible to the great room and dining room. The great room features soaring ceilings, a huge river rock wood burning fireplace and a wall of windows that looks out into the treetops. The living room opens to porches on three sides for outdoor living. The back screened in porch holds a bubbling hot tub and the side porch and front porch have plenty of rocking chairs for relaxing and breathing the clean country air.
The master on the main features a king size log bed and an exquisite bathroom with a large Jacuzzi tub surrounded by walls of river rock, giving you the feeling of soaking in a hot springs at the foot of a waterfall!
The upstairs has another master suite with a queen size log bed and private bathroom and a loft sitting area with another set of bunk beds.
Outside there is a charcoal grill and a firepit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying each other's company on a cool mountain evening around a warm fire!

This is a very spacious cabin and was perfect for 3 families with 2 small children. The play yard across the road was a great place to take my 2 year old grandchildren to play. If the weather was drizzly, then the covered porch at the cabin gave them room to run and play! The living and dining area was large enough that we never felt crowded when we were all together. It's a 30 minute drive to Helen and a 15 minute drive to Cleveland so that gave us a couple of outings but the cabin was so great, I would have been happy just to stay put! A good fishing hole close by for my son-in-law is the only thing that could have made our stay better. Thanks Susan!

We just got back from our weeknd in Ga. Deer Creek Lodge was as advertised. Very well maintaned and clean. Hot tub was great as the evening temps were cool. No real issues with the lodge. A way to play music would be a nice addition. We were playing games Friday night and would have liked to be able to have some music. We went to Helen Friday evening and Saturday. Lots of fun there. Would recommend this cabin.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We had a great visit. The cabin is spacious and very comfortable. The pictures looked good, but it looks great in person. I liked that there were beds on three different floors. We had teen boys and girls and they were able to be on separate floors. The fire pit and hot tub were great also. We will be back!

My husband and I came to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. It was wonderful. The cabin is absolutely a perfect atmosphere. It is so beautiful and private and clean. The first day, we went to Helen and went to all the shops and bought fudge and pralines. We ate overlooking the river. The weather was perfectly warm with a cool breeze. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee sitting in the rockers on the wrap around porch. The next day we ate at Glenda's in Cleveland. It's a small place, but very good. They had homemade cakes. We went to Dahlonega, At night we really enjoyed the hot tub, it was cool out and warm in the hot tub. The pool table and foosball table were loads of fun. We really hope to return with our family, there was plenty of room for all of us to have a great getaway. Thanks again. Wanda & Ray

They say pictures are worth a 1000 words, but in this case, pictures do not do this cabin justice, nor would 10,000 words! Absolutely a stunning cabin! To top it off, Susan is a gem when it comes to ease in rental! We came for a day to see if this is where future vacations could be, and the answer is absolutely! Too bad we have to go back to work or the word "eviction" comes to mind! Cabin Pros: Decor, Layout, Quality, Outdoor Jacuzzi, Decks, Space, Cleanliness, Rental ease. Cabin Cons: No Turkish bathrobes like the high end spas/relaxation places typically have. Not owned by us... Have no hesitation or doubt when renting this cabin. You will NOT be sorry!
